I was hesitant to write a review since this Condo is always booked a couple yrs in advance, but I figured I'd give someone else an opportunity to enjoy it too! I have stayed in Condo #608 all 4 times Ive visited Sanibel Island since 2005. My husband & I were seriouslly thinking about buying this condo when we heard it was for sale last year, but the listing price was a little more than we wanted to spend. I have "O" complaints about anything, other than the hurricane that came through last year when we were there-haha. Awesome Condo, beach, staff. Could see myself retiring here in this Condo many years from now!

Beautiful condos, especially 608 that we stayed in!!! Be sure to rent the bikes and bike the island, funnest thing weve done as a family in florida. Ocean is the most beautiful ive seen in florida, and the shells are unbelievable!!! Staff is wonderful, i cannot remember her name in the office but she is wonderful! Im more into the big city of florida, our first 4 days were spent here for my wife. I never regretted a second of it!! No big city, ft.meyers with a ton of restaurants and shopping close. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants near. Beautiful island, beautiful condo's!!! A must stay if u vacation in florida, best location on sanibel

We have stayed at Sanibel Siesta earlier years, this 608 condo is absolutley beautiful and everything we needed was at our finger tips. Our location and the size of the condo was perfect for our family of 5.The only negative was the condo sleeps 6 easily and we were charged additionally for our daughter to join us $20 a day, that seems unfair as the condo was not being abused by having our family of 5 sleep in a condo that sleeps at least 6??? We are also Florida east coast residents and visiting in august is the low season as well so having the condo rented at all should be a plus in august as this place was a ghost town!!! We also inquired that we would love to visit in summer and bring our 8 year old lab and were told we could but we have to stay 2wks to bring the dog???Really, unless a person is a snowbird or retired or both why would anyone stay two weeks in the summer, Sanibel is a great place but two weeks for a family in the summer would not suffice just so we could bring our dog!! Seems if a dog would do harm they would do more harm in two wks if they are bad rather than 3 days or 7 days??? I don't get that mind set, but that is what I was told by management. All in all Sanibel Siesta was a nice vacation and we will tell other family and our friends that are only a two hr drive from east coast to stay there. The only other thing is could we have advice what to use to ward off the "No See-ums" they ate us up early evening walks on beach and we were loaded with Skintastics and Off...they still managed to bite!!! The condo was very comfortable and had superb views of the beach. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and kids toys. The kids had a great time on the beach as well as at the pool. Wish we would have had more time to spend on vacation!!

We found Sanibel Siesta by chance about 12 years ago. We love Sanibel and the accomodations at Sanibel Siesta are the best. The redo of 608 is wonderful. I almost don't want to rate the Condo and the resort as if the word get's out we will have to start booking 2 years in advance!

We've stayed in other units in Sanibel Siesta and this one is a bit different in its organization, but I kind of like it. It's modern and quite comfortable. The second bedroom is maybe a bit overdone (my sister didn't want to stay under the "tahiti" hut - fear of spiders?). The kitchen lights weren't always working, though, and we had issues with the TV and the main bath didn't hold water - but I don't come there for those reasons. I come to enjoy the beach and to relax, so it was quite nice.

We have been staying at Sanibel Siesta for many years. In our opinion Unit 608 is by far the best unit that we have stayed in at Sanibel Siesta. Very nicely decorated, with Granite counter tops, large Tv's and what a fantatic Gulf Front view. We ask for that unit everytime we go there. Unfortunately we were not able to get there this year, the first year in several consecutive years. We definitely will be headed back there next year.
