We had a wonderful stay in this delightul cottage while we were in Santa Barbara for a college graduation. Wished we had more time to enjoy the wonderful location quite near to the beach and State St. as well as the amenities of the cottage including beautiful back deck and comfy living room. (We were too busy with graduation festivities)! Bunny, the owner, has truly thought of everything you could possibly need.

The home was absolutely spotless. We had to wait a little bit to meet the owner upon arrival, but the porch was lovely. This home is in a neighborhood with tightly clustered houses, but the back porch is completely secluded with beautiful bamboo. The kitchen has everything you need, gorgeous linens and towels, and the house is immaculately clean. We have allergies, and had no problems in this neat and clean cottage. Close to the beach - and a perfect option for a family with slightly older kids (stairs to loft would not be great for little ones). House is equipped with everything you could possibly need including beach chairs. Nice owner - would stay again in a minute. No airconditioning - but we didn't need it in September.

Quaint cottage, walking distance to beach, market and State Street. Cosy and comfortable, everything one needs for convenience. Nice private rear yard plus front deck where you can watch the world go by! Upstairs loft fun, but watch your head, and suitcases stay downstairs. Blow up queen bed very comfortable!
Overall a great spot to retire to after a hard days shopping! -

This was our first vacation rental experience and we were beyond impressed! All the photos and descriptions were true and accurate--the home is impeccably cared for and Bunny was an amazingly sweet host. We have a newborn and everything worked out perfectly for us--especially having the laundry machines on site and the location is conveniently close to the market, drug store, etc. This was definitely one of the most comfortable stays in Santa Barbara for us. We will definitely be returning to the Beach Bunny Cottage in the future.

We had a great stay at the beach bunny cottage earlier this summer in June. Bunny met us at the cottage as we rolled into town and gave us a brief overview of the beautiful cottage and town. The home is so cozy, clean and well appointed. I traveled with my husband and one and a half year old son. We went to the beach every day, went on bike rides, and to the farmers market. The cottage is a block from the beach. We also used the BBQ in the cute little yard and had dinner in a couple nights. There cottage had everything we could have required and even some beach toys for my son. Bunny was great and very attentive to our needs. We hope to return!

With the non stop of daily life, this was a much welcomed and needed stop of the daily grind. Everything was thought of from the full kitchen, to the washer and dryer. It was clean and well stocked. The beds were so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The living room was just the right size. The dining table in the bay window was wonderful place for evening drinks and either patio was great for morning coffee. It was just a short walking distance to the beach to do my walk along ocean. I would recommend this delight for any one staying in the Santa Barbara area.

The Bunny Beach Cottage is such a wonderful place to stay. This was our second stay and frankly, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when visiting Santa Barbara. The master bedroom and bath are spacious and it's great to have a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. The deck and patio in back are surrounded towering bamboo (and a new gas grill) providing just the right haven for us and for the many visitors who stopped by during the festivities surrounding our son's wedding. The living room is bright and cheery and features a fireplace for taking the chill out of cool California evenings.

Loved staying in Bunny's cottage, navigating the loft was a bit of a concern with our 3-year-old and I can imagine it is a fabulous place for kids who are a tad older. Overall it was perfect and I would not hesitate to stay there again. My biggest complaint is that our stay was too short!

This renovated 100-year-old cottage is in beautiful condition, with a fully stocked kitchen if you plan to make a lot of your own meals, a luxuriously spacious bedroom, and a very comfortable living-dining area. Location is superb. We were without a car for five weeks and enjoyed the beach, the fish pier, the twice-a-week farmers' market, and the theaters of State Street using our feet and the trolley and an occasional bus. A safe, clean neighborhood with nearby shops, a local gym, and just two blocks from the train station for trips to la or San Luis Obispo. The Delories are wonderful and very considerate landlords.

I was just thinking of you yesterday and just how much your cottage completed our family vacation. We share some special times there, ones of laughter, revelations, tears, healing and depth to our relationships. The house felt safe just like home to us all.It was really hard to leave it and go back home.

Thanks Bunny for being so kind and accommodating. For us it’s all about a good night’s sleep (comfy bed), fabulous food and exercise. Our favorite walk was up to Shoreline Park where we watched the surfers and kayakers and then back to SB City College for a real workout on the track and stadium steps. This school has the most incredible view of the ocean. Afterwards, we walked across the street to Shoreline Café and enjoyed lunch and wine at a table on the beach. Another favorite restaurant was Brophy Bros. in the harbor, absolutely the best fish and chips this side of Vancouver! Other nights, we cooked great meals at the cottage in the very well equipped kitchen. Thanks for everything!

Staying at Beach Bunny Cottage on our recent trip to Santa
Barbara was truly wonderful!
For just slightly more than the hotel room that we had been
considering, this was just perfect for us. Our son and his
significant other live in a much smaller place in SB, so this
gave us the space for them to come over so that four of us
could stretch out and relax.
The bed and bedding was amazing and the unit is best
suited for two, but up a slender spiral staircase leads to
space for four more. (Probably not the best for very young
children.) Of the two decks, we particularly LOVED the very
private deck in back, surrounded by soaring bamboo. The
unit has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, wireless internet,
cable TV and DVD player, 1 3/4 baths and a great location.
Bunny and Dave are wonderful hosts and we look forward
to staying with them again on our next visit. -

My husband and I totally enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Beach Bunny Cottage. The 3 bedroom home was so enjoyable. All the rooms are so cozy and decorated to make you feel like it is your own home away from home.
We really enjoyed the deck areas. What a great place to sit and enjoy the wonderful Santa Barbara weather and sip some glasses of wine. There are some of the best California wineries just a short drive away in the Santa Ynez Valley and Lompoc areas.
The home is in a great location, making it very easy to get around Santa Barbara on foot or on public transportation. It is walking distance to the pier, harbor and shopping.
The cottage is large enough to bring along some friends for a fun filled week.
Having a full kitchen is very helpful too, just in case you want to cook up something to eat or fill the refrigerator with some of the local foods available at the Farmer's Markets.
We plan heading back to the Beach Bunny Cottage soon. -

Obvious pride of ownership, very clean, very well decorated, fresh, comfortably appointed, new appliances. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants.
Competively priced.
Well located to easily enable touring Santa Barbara, Sterns Warf, the harbor and Beach area, within walking distance. Close to City of Santa Barbara provided touring tram.
Looking forward to returning.

The location of your cottage is perfect! We love the proximity to the beach, harbor, & Stern's wharf. We had our choice of dozens of restaurants within walking distance! When we didn't want to walk or drive downtown, there is a shuttle we could catch nearby. We are looking forward to Fiesta in August, as the Fiesta parade starts right down the street. Next time, we will bring our bikes and take a ride along the bike path on Cabrillo Blvd. Your cottage is very clean and cozy!
