This comfortable modern Victorian cottage on the upper east side of Santa Barbara, offers guests a “back stage pass” to a memorable vacation.

Built in 2005, and recently refurnished, Back Stage Pass is just up the street from the Santa Barbara Bowl, a beloved concert venue. Great names in entertainment appear here, making this vacation rental a “hot ticket” when big names are in town. “The Bowl”, as locals refer to it, is a stunning one-of-a-kind outdoor amphitheater with views stretching down to the ocean.

Surrounded by a picket fence and climbing roses, this charming 3-story home has Victorian charm inside and out. H...ardwood floors, crisp white trim molding, wainscot and dormer windows are among the traditional design features that add to the classic appeal of this home.

The home is cozy and well appointed. Enter the home on the 1st floor where the Living Room offers a 42" flat screen TV, queen sofa sleeper and antique secretary desk.

One of 3 Guest Bedrooms is located on the 1st floor offering a queen-size bed and 32" flat screen TV. A full bathroom nearby in classic Victorian style has a shower over a cast-iron claw foot tub and marble counters.

The Formal Dining Room centers on the round table that seats four. If your trip to Santa Barbara involves visiting local wine tasting rooms, favorite varietals will stay nice and cool in the Wet Bar wine cooler. The Kitchen is efficient and well stocked, with additional dining options at a bistro table that also seats four.

The 2nd floor Family Room is bright and comfortable with two separate sitting areas under vaulted ceilings. A cozy spot in front of the 47" flat screen TV also offers the added warmth of a gas fireplace. Another quiet corner is perfect for quiet conversations, reading or an afternoon nap!

The other 2 Guest Bedrooms are located on the second floor. The Master Bedroom has a queen-size bed, 32" flat screen TV, and distant ocean views. The third bedroom has a full-size bed and a second desk. The upstairs full Bathroom echoes the same stylish charm as the 1st floor bathroom with a shower over the claw foot tub, natural wood armoire and marble counters.

The favorite spot of this home will undoubtedly be the second floor deck with Living Room ambiance and shade canopy. Views from here overlook the roofs of local neighborhoods and stretch down to the ocean in the distance. Unwind in the Softub on the deck or just relax on chaise lounges and enjoy the fiery sunsets all year round.

For the younger set, the 3rd floor attic is a cozy space just perfect for little guests. They can enjoy watching Saturday morning cartoons, or spend some quiet time with books and games.

Back Stage Pass is located about 1 mile from the heart of downtown Santa Barbara where shops and restaurants abound. Or stay closer to home and walk to great neighborhood eating establishments like La Supa-Rica, featured on the Food Network. There is usually a line, but the homemade tortillas are worth the wait!

Venture out and enjoy great outdoor activities. There are tennis courts at the local high school just down the block that are open for public use. Bring bikes, pack a picnic, and head out to the beach less than 2 miles away. East Beach is studded with volleyball courts and great beachside dining. The bike path winds for 3 miles along the white sands of the pristine coast.

Note: Home is located on the corner of a fairly busy street so street noise could be a factor at this home. On concert nights, music and other related noise may be heard. Concert times are regulated by the City of Santa Barbara and normally scheduled to end by 10:00pm.Read more
