My wife and I just stayed in a beautiful, recently built, fully furnished apartment above a detached garage in Santa Cruz. The location is amazing with it's own private access, parking, and many amenities. It's within a two block walk, by foot trail, of the lighthouse, world famous surf break (Steamer Lane), and a really nice dog beach.
The owners were very nice. We were able to arrange our dates without any hiccups and we felt like it was a great value. Even though this apartment is on the owners property (accessible by alleyway) we had complete privacy and total independence to come and go as we pleased.
We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Cruz.
