“A beautiful place to stay.” The house was beautiful and comfortable. It was a luxurious home away from home. It was located in a nice safe residential neighborhood. It was located a short distance and easy ride to everything. I would gladly return.

“Great Value” Caribbean Palm Village is an older resort that has been well maintained. The 2 pools were very clean and there was ample seating at each. The 2 hot tubs were very enjoyable. The one bedroom unit was very spacious and had 2 full bathrooms, a nicely appointed kitchen and a good sized living dinning area. We especially enjoyed having a morning coffee on the deck. This resort is a little off the beaten path so it is a quite retreat. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. It is an exception value for the price paid. This was our 3rd trip to the resort and we will definitely be returning.

“Everything you need in a beautiful setting” We ( me, my husband and adult daughter) stayed 8 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment! It was huge! 2 big bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, a Living room and a balcony overlooking the pool. There is a restaurant, a bar, gym, launderette, 1 family pool, 1 Adult pool, 2 jacuzzis, happy hours, entertainment, free bus service to the beach, free pool and beach towels are provided. What more can you ask for. The apartment is away from the main strip- therefore it is quiet at night. It's only an easy 20 minute walk to the main restaurants and 25 minutes to the beach. The beach bar you are taken to provide free sunbeds, free iced water. Serves food and drinks- but don't constantly pressure you to purchase. We had a relaxed vacation here. Hopefully we will be back.

Great hospitality and relaxed atmoshere.

Ingrid was a great hostess! My wife and I stayed for 8 nights and had a wonderful time. I travel for a living, so it was important for us to stay at a place that was relaxed and does not have the hotel feel. We picked a great place. Ingrid served breakfast by the pool every morning and we got to try lots of very tasty local foods. The house is very nice and inviting and the beds very comfortable. The air conditioning in the room was very much appreciated after spending all day in the sun. We happened to stay while her daughters were visiting and they all treated us like part of the family. The house is just outside of arikok National Park in Santa Cruz so it is away from the busy streets of downtown and there is only peace and quiet. You will need a car to get around, but I would suggest one no matter where you stay since there is so much to see on the island. I don't know when we will be back, but Ingrid will definitely be our first call! … see more

Understated and Perfect for Us!

The property is located in the center of the island in an Aruban neighborhood. The apartment is separate and in the rear of the main property. The property is beautiful with many tropical plants and shade trees. Reinier was the consummate host offering helpful advice and recommendations. To take full advantage, a rental car is a must from this central location. You are very close to groceries, gas, restaurants (including fast food offerings), a few minutes drive from Arikok N.P. or Oranjestad, ~10 minutes from the south (beautiful sunsets) and north (stargazing) shores and either end of the island (e.g., Baby Beach, California light house and all white sand shores in between) are <30 minute drives. The apartment was clean and contained all necessary amenities for enjoyable simple living. AC and a comfortable bed made for restful sleep. Essential kitchen amenities and a charcoal grill well enabled basic meal preparations. The shade of the tamarind tree provided a gorgeous patio location for morning coffee and evening beers. In full disclosure, we offer two possible cons. The first was a close neighbor with chickens; however, their morning greetings were surprisingly impossible to hear in the bedroom and did not affect sleep. The second was an absence of hot water showers in typical Aruban fashion. Hot water is not common for Aruban homes as the islands water supply is a constant 24degs C; which we easily acclimated to especially after the day's activities in the sun.
