BerkeleySanta Cruz Beach House Delight
Left on 07/08/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Wow...we could not have picked a better vacation home for our family reunion in Santa Cruz!! The beach house had everything we needed...gorgeous views from the decks, hot tub overlooking the ocean, lovely kitchen and dining area (we are big foodies and really appreciated a great kitchen to cook in to feed our family). We had lovely walks to the beach (one block away) and on the beach, enjoyed coffee and Santa Cruz's fantastic book shops, enjoyed shopping at annie's Glass (a must see Santa Cruz shop) and walked through stunning Ucsc. We can't wait to go back to Santa Cruz and are coordinating our family calender now for our next visit!

OrangevaleEven Better than the Pictures !!!
Left on 06/23/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Wow !!! I rented this property to take my two boys and their girlfriends on a long weekend vacation to celebrate high school graduations and first year of college. During the drive to the beach house, I thought "oh no, what if it doesn't look anything like the pictures and it's not really 'on the beach'." Then we pulled up to the house...It was even more fabulous than the pictures!!! Every room on the top two levels has ocean views; the house was fabulous; the location was to die for. We parked our cars, unpacked, and never got in the cars again, until time to leave. This was the perfect home to stay in for a mom who truely wanted to spend both quality time with her boys and yet let the kids go have fun on their own. Within one hour of our arrival, I was on the deck, kicking back on a fabulous deck chair; glass of wine-in-hand; and literally watching my boys and their girlfriends frolicking on the beach and body surfing. The Boardwalk was a very short walk away (not so close that you heard it but close enough that you could litterally walk back and forth from the boardwalk to the house for meals and to take beach breaks :-). The home was so amazing that the kids all looked forward to meeting at home for dinners together and we all stayed in one evening watching movies together, (something that never happens at home). Oh, yes...sleeping with the window open and listening to the waves crash upon the shore was heaven.
I am so thrilled that these home owners opted to share this fabulous home with others. And, they made a gread choice in using this property management company -- the staff was wonderful; helpful; the property was well cared for; everything was perfect. -

We've stayed at many vacation rentals and the Bluff is my all time favorite. The views from the spa and upper deck are breathtaking. There are unobstructed views of the wharf, beaches, lighthouse with Boardwalk peek. Easy walk to the Boardwalk over the trestle. Close to Natural History Museum. Great beach out front. Beach accessible one block beautiful stroll or climb down steep cliff. Living area has hugh sectional with fireplace, large windows with ocean views and small deck. Lots of levels not best suited for disabled.
Enjoy booking with Kendall Potter. Easy, hassle-free. -

Girls Weekend Away
Austin, TXGreat Experience, except for all the service :)
Left on 11/03/2011 for a stay in October 2011
The place is everything you could ask for in a home away from home. It has views of sunrise and sunset, and the ocean, the boardwalk, the wharf, and so much space.
The location is good if you don't mind a short walk to get onto the beach itself. There is no direct access to the beach from the house, which was nice actually, because you have the views, and comforts right in the house, on the balcony, and decks.
We did get interruptions from maintenance people...the guy for the hot tub, repair guy, the landscaping crew (complete with leaf blower).
The only other inconvenience was with getting the keys to and from aptos. With lock boxes, key boxes, electronic entry options there are better ways to pass off entry securely.
Overall, an a+. I would stay again, and recommend it.

BerkeleyBeautiful relaxing weekend at the beach
Left on 10/19/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This house is just perfect! It has beautiful views, easy beach access, and is close to the pier and the boardwalk. The house is spacious and seems even bigger, thanks to a floorplan that provides multiple spaces to either gather or curl up with a book and enjoy some privacy. The roofdeck/hottub is sublime, the kitchen is well outfitted, the playroom stocked with games, the beds are comfy, and the livingroom a great place to gather. We had a wonderful time.

Lakeville MNFabulous House Fabulous Location
Left on 09/21/2011 for a stay in September 2011
If you are vacationing in Santa Cruz with 6+ people you need to rent this house! 5 floors so privacy is not an issue. 2 deck levels, one with a hot tub. The view is spectacular, the location couldn't be better - 2 blocks to beach access, 4-5 blocks to the Boardwalk/Wharf, about 6 or so blocks to the marina. There is plenty to do and the house is well stocked with any appliance you might need or any beach activity you want to do. Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. I hope to have a reason to stay here again in the near future! Thank you for renting out such a beautiful property.

Chandler, AZRelaxing, convenient and just what we needed
Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Overall, the home was wonderful and met expectations. It was in great condition, even more room to roam for the family than anticipated, the kitchen was enormous, and we truly just loved the house. The complaints come outside the property. The price paid for being so close to the beach and boardwalk is the park in front of the home which attracts a constant stream of transients and homeless. They did not cause any direct problem, but certainly something to keep in mind with kids around. More importantly is the fact that the bluff is closed and access to the beach was not nearly as convenient as expected. I saw this as more of an inconvenience than anything, but something to keep in mind. I would stay in the house again if my plans allow for is.

BerkeleyAwesome location, fabulous house
Left on 01/11/2011 for a stay in November 2010
We came for a long weekend with two families (total of three adults and five kids aged 8 to 13) The location was great- it's right on the bluff overlooking the beach and short walk to the boardwalk and the pier. The layout of the house is brilliant- large enough common spaces for the whole group to comfortably gather, but enough different spaces (roof deck, bedrooms, living area, eat in kitchen, family room) for people to have privacy of for the adults and kids to do their own thing. Decor is lovely but comfortable and beach-y. This is the place to stay Santa Cruz.

Beautiful views overlooking the ocean and a wonderful outdoor jacuzzi spa makes this a perfect spot. The home is tastefully decorated with beautiful art works and seaside theme in the decor. Loved the large spacious kitchen. Different levels lends itself to teens having their own space below while the living room is warm and inviting for entertaining and relaxing for the family.

Left on 09/13/2010 for a stay in August 2010
This rental was close to the Boardwalk and of course the beach. Home has many levels, so it allowed for seperate privacies if needed. Outside deck with view of entire beach was special. Downside is public access close by and in front of house which minimizes privacy. It was still a good experience!

BerkeleyA wonderful beach front oasis from the stress of daily living
Left on 08/06/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Our stay at this Santa Cruz beach house was superb! The warm cozy house welcomed us with a lovely open kitchen, wood floors, decks, hot tub and soothing turquoise interiors. Books, photos of the Santa Cruz beach and a causal living room made it the perfect place to enjoy reading and relaxing with a good cup of coffee, while enjoying the sound of the waves. We had great walks right from the house...one direction leads right to Seabright beach and the Santa Cruz history museum. Walking past the harbor to its far side on a Saturday morning, leads to the Santa Cruz Community Ukulele group...an open sing-along that was a real kick. Not to be missed, and there is a cafe for on that beach for drinks and muffins. If you head over the trestle bridge past the boardwalk, all of the other side of the Santa Cruz beach is at your feet. The afternoon we walked it, we were treated to an open air salsa dance fest (again; what seemed to be a community event). One of the best dance fest I have seen in a long time! Don't miss out out on Santa Cruz's fab independent book store, Logos Books & Records on Pacific, along with shops and coffee places. One last recommendation is for a great restaurant, Malabar. This Sri Lankan asian fusion is vegetarian food at its best. All in all, this Santa Cruz beach house is the ideal get away. We can't wait for another visit to this beach front oasis.

The pictures don't give this place justice! It is right by the beach. It is literally 6 stories, no joke. It is huge and decorated like a beach house. I have no regrets staying here, it was beautiful!
