Beautifully decorated two-story 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home just 1 block to the sand and GREAT surfing! Downstairs family room has 2 Twin Couch Beds AND 1 Double Couch Bed, TV/VCR. Patio/yard off family room has 2 Charcoal BBQs, HOT TUB, patio, and table & chairs seating 6. Also downstairs is the Trundle Bedroom (2 Twins or 1 CA King), bathroom, and door for private access to driveway. Convenient Outdoor Hot/Cold Shower on the side of the house for easy beach clean up. this home works very well for our family get away every year. the kitchen is very well equipped, kids love the hot tub. the beach is at the end of the street which is why we come to santa cruz. the 9 of us fit very well in this house. shopping is fairly close which helps. the house is well equipped for the beach and what ever else one might need.

Our family from Oregon and Santa Barbara gathered in Santa Cruz for a week together. Sea Star house was perfect. We especially enjoyed that the house allowed us all to be together but also allowed each family some privacy. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable and had nice bedding on them. The three hide-beds in the downstairs family room had marginal linens provided. We were happy we had brought some with us. We loved having the hot tub and spacious deck. Both were heavily used. The kitchen is well equipped and large enough for more than one cook. Lastly, we really liked the large dining area with a view toward the ocean. One bit of advice. The traffic in Santa Cruz around commuter time is pretty bad. We learned to go out early in the day.

The location was great! The beach was conveniently close. there was enough room for my whole party. We got a lot done, had a fun time and were able to bond.

This was our second year as a family renting this house, we stayed for two weeks this last time. The location is great, the views from the deck are wonderful. There was room for all of us (7 the first week, and 6 the next). The house is clean and well equiped. The only issue we had was the couch hide-a-bed on the lower level needs a new mattress as it seems worn out and not too comfortable. We look forward to going again next year.

Everything about our vacation was handled in a professional manner and yet
we felt like we were the only clients you had. Every request and question was
taken care of in a timely and personal way. The home immediately became
ours and we felt like we had been coming for years. My kitchen at home is not
as well furnished ! Two barbecues, an outdoor shower for the kids to "de-
sand" themselves three televisions to eliminate any squabbling, it couldn't get
any better than that. We enjoyed the secluded beach although it was kind of a
hard walk to get down to the water and a little bit scary walking along the road
with the traffic zooming by and five kids in tow. The trip to the boardwalk and
wharf was a bit of a struggle as was the parking of two cars each time (we
were a group of twelve !) All in all it was a super eight days and we'll be back! -

location is a short 5-min drive to santa cruz wharf/center. it would've been nice to be able to walk rather than drive, but the peace and tranquility of this location makes up for it. instead of the noisy boardwalk, there is a small beach just a few steps away from the house.
favorite features of the house are the large patio for outdoor socializing, fully-stocked kitchen and bbq grill, and hot tub in the backyard.
rental process was easy to follow, however, we had to drive 10 min south past the house to pick up and return keys to the property management, which was quite inconvenient. other properties we have rented before usually have a lock box or a meetup time at the house. though this is not enough to deduct a star off the rating as we had a wonderful experience!
