The house was more than we expected. Great place for family time. Walking distance to Seabright Beach, Boardwalk, grocery store and restaurants. We parked our car when we arrived and did not drive until it was time to go home. House was very clean and so cute. Loved sitting out front of the house on the patio furniture watching the waves at the beach. The only thing I would recommend -- if you plan on cooking something large - bring your own pots. Otherwise kitchen is fully stocked. Perfect... Will definitely go back.

The staff of Kendall & Potter Property Management is on par with the whole experience as just stated with my "Title Review". First and foremost is the cheerfulness each person has on the phone, and secondly, each person carried through with being very helpful and knowledgeable. The transaction to complete registration was handled smoothly without any hitch. The home was just perfect for the four of us. When we walked into the house, we just felt the home-like atmosphere---the cute fire place, the rocking chair and the beautifully
decorated bedrooms---the place was so cozy. We didn't have any problems with hot water shortage, or leaky faucets---everything thing in the house was clean. And talk about location--the beach not even half a block away, near Safeway and restaurants--that is, if you didn't want to cook in a cute kitchen. Vicky by the Sea is a plus to any vacation experience. -

Vicky by the sea, very nice house. Location, Location Location!!!
House is small, clean. I loved the claw foot tub. Secure backyard
great for my dog. Close to shopping and dinning. Mircowave needs to be replaced. Having to drive to rental office was not enjoyable.
A Lock box would be nice. We did have a great time. -

We enjoyed our weekend at this very cute cottage right down from beach. Had everything we needed, was very clean and the outside 3rd bedroom was good.

We planned a last minute trip to Santa Cruz and were lucky to get this charming home! Tons of character, a great fireplace to have coffee by and watch the waves. Outdoor shower was great for the kids to rinse off after coming back from the beach. We're already planning our next trip there!

Nice, convenient place to stay for a vacation at the beach. A criticism is that the house, which is small anyway, has so many nick-nacks and cute things on the counters(ie the fireplace area in the dining room, and small tables) that it is very difficult to find a place to set things.The pictures throughout the house are great.The house is well stocked, clean, decorated nicely (although it is almost over-decorated). Another plus was the number of towel racks in the bathrooms, and coat hooks in the house.The outside shower with cold and hot water was fabulous and saved a ton of sand from entering the house. There were towel hooks even by that shower.The knives in the kitchen need to be sharpened.The eating area is tiny, but that's the way it is! In all, a very pleasant place to stay.

We booked this at the last minute and boy did we luck out. The house was a lot bigger then it looked. We had three people in the main house and two teenagers in the "teen room" in the side yard. The teens loved it, very private, it had a bed and a sitting area with a TV. The house was cozy, and the decor was very nicely done. We sat at the table in front and looked down the street at the ocean. With two bathrooms and two bedrooms in the main house there was plenty of privacy. The living room has windows surrounding it so plenty of light gets in. It was a very nice three days, we wish it could have been for more. The claw tub was a real treat. The only negative is picking up the keys and dropping them off. It would be nice if there was a lock box onsite.

As always our stay was great, from the service we received from Kendal and Potter as well as our favorite "Little Vickie". Least favorite is having to travel to aptos to pick-up and return the keys.

We stayed here last year and really enjoyed our vacation. I would say the same for this year. Perfect location and very cozy little house. K&P; always give great service also!

Vickiy by the Sea is wonderful beach house. When we
pulled up in front we all thought it looked like it
should be sitting on top of a cake! The house is
small but beautifully decorated with all the
amenities provided. I have 3 boys (1 teenager and 2
under 10yrs.)There was enough room for all. My
teenager slept in the guest cottage (which he
thought was very cool)and the 2 younger boys shared
a bed. With a separate room for my husband and me
(relaxing!) 2 bathrooms meant no waiting and an
outside shower was great after a day at the beach.
It's a very short walk to the beach too. Close
enough that we could run up for food, drinks,
restroom break, etc. A driveway means no mad search
for parking and close enough to walk to a few
restaurants (Betty Burger). The property management
staff was very helpful right from the start to the
end of our trip. I can't say anything negative
except that there are some large stains on the
carpet. Not a deterent in any way for staying at
the house, however. The K&P Mgmnt told us before we
got there so we would know what to expect. We can't
wait to go there again next summer!
