“Casa Sirena”, or Mermaid House, is Elegant but Homey, and is the perfect Tropical getaway retreat for families and friends. Located on Playa Danta at Las Catalinas, you can see the skyline of Flamingo across the Bay and it is only a 15 minute drive to Flamingo, 35 minutes to Tamarindo and 35 minutes to Playa Grande.
Look over the pictures, they are the best description of the quality and comfort of this beautiful Beachfront home. Spending time in the outside space of the home with covered living areas including, dining, outside kitchen, gardens, pool and Jacuzzi, is a highlight for all guests. Daily Maid Service Is Included.

Las Catalinas is located on Costa Rica’s northern Pacific Coast, just north across BahĂa Potrero from the town of Flamingo. Our 1,200 acres are filled with and surrounded by beauty with over 2 miles of dramatic coastline, great beaches, trails through the hills, amazing wildlife both on land and at sea, and a climate that pulls you outside to enjoy it all.
Las Catalinas is a beach town, lively and friendly. It is a hilltown, with magnificent views, drama, and mystery. The first portions of our town have recently been completed. It is a place for connecting with nature. It is a place for connecting with the people you love. It is a place to re-connect with yourself and your own aspirations.

We had 2 families staying at Casa Sirena in Las Catalinas and we had one of the best stays in a house right on an amazing beach in Costa Rica. Casa Sirena comfortably housed all 8 of us. It is equipped with the best top of the line appliances, Sub Zero and Wolf! We cooked every night in a kitchen that we dreamed we could have in our own house. The Wolf grill and outdoor sub zero ice maker on the front deck was a bonus! The beds, linens, and electronic controlled blackout shades made sleeping there a 5 star experience.
Playa Danta at Las Catalinas is hidden gem with a protected bay that is perfect for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, and boogie boarding. There is also a world class 12 km single track mountain bike trail at our door step. Pura Vida Ride is the outfitter at Playa Danta with all the first class equipment needed to do every activity. Their staff was friendly and helpful. We were also able able to get espresso and home made Italian gelato there.
Lola's restaurant had amazing food served up at tables right on the sand. We ate there every lunch! The staff at Lola's was so nice, and treated us like family!
We will recommend Casa Sirena and Las Catalinas to all our friends and we can't wait to stay there again! -

What more could one want? Beachfront, perfect weather, hearty, delicious breakfast cooked by a charming and super-friendly House Mama... impeccable decor, comfortable furniture, grilling open-air (beachfront again!)... stone's throw away from a great eatery and hangout (Lola's del Norte) and an awesome outfitter (Pura Vida Ride). On top of all that you have all the amenities we take for granted in the U.S. (internet, cable TV, air-conditioning), but that stand out when you enjoy them here, just in the right amount to make the visit that much more special, but not too much to make you forget you are in wonderful Costa Rica. I can't wait to be there again!
