True adobe casita built in the 1930's, completely renovated with new appliances, granite countertops, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, wood floors, skylights, thick adobe walls, wood beamed ceiling, tiled bathroom . Located on a quiet residential street in the Historical Railyard District. Walking distance to shopping, entertainment, restaurants and historical sites. New REI, Flying Star Cafe, Galleries, clothing, speciality shops and Farmers Market 3 blocks away. Sanbusco Mall and many restaurants are a 5 minute walk away. The plaza less than an 15 minute walk features many Museums, Lensic Theater, bike... rentals, J. Crew, and other local specialty shops, Canyon Road and endless casual and fine dining. Complimentary chilled bottled spring water, paper products, coffee, hot tea, basic condiments, laundry detergent. Amenities: Your up-scale casita features custom made furniture from local artist featured in a gallery downtown. Plush pillow-top queen size bed, 350 count cotton sateen sheets and cotton Indian pattern towels by Ralph Lauren. Antler trimmed handles adorn the custom made dresser, rawhide lampshades, lodgepole bed, private TV/DVD in bedroom. Natural color walls are adorned with southwestern art, a large skylight located in each room brings the natural lighting in. The sofa/sleeper features a queen size bed with a vhs/dvd tv. The casita sleeps 2 to 4 people. Children are welcomed, but we have a policy of no pets or smoking anywhere on the property.
Public Transportation: The New Rail Runner is 2 blocks away, providing train service from the Railyard area located 2 blocks away to Albuquerque.
Cancellation Policy:
We will gladly refund your deposit less a $25 handling fee of the nights that you booked can be booked by another party. One time cleaning fee. $75

  We spent a week at the Casa Manhatten and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location is perfect - it's an easy walk to the Railyard where there is great shopping for everything from clothes to art, World foods to local produce. On the weekend we explored an arts market and a really good Flea Market. The location is also a short walk to all the major attractions off the main plaza, like the O'Keefe Museum. The site also means you have a choice between the best of Sante Fe restaurants, like The Shed or Cowgirls, or cooking yourself in the well provided kitchen. Trader Joe's or Whole Foods are both 5 minutes away by car [or Whole Foods also a 5 minute walk] - so we saved money, and my gym scales tell me I didn't put on the usual pounds by always eating out. Finally you are right on the major route out of town to places like Taos or the Santa Fe Opera, so day tripping is easy. The space is itself is very comfortable. We were able to do everything from from watching TV to holding an internet supported conference for work. As befits Santa Fe, the casita has good local art. There's even books, Dvds [mainly for youngsters] and jig saw puzzles that we used and enjoyed. We also appreciated the laundry. Finally, it snowed while we there, which we weren't prepared for, and we were quite comfortable.
