We had a most wonderful girlfriends getaway for four days in Santa Fe and staying here in this house was a big part of it. The house is charming, with a fantastic, huge, well equipped kitchen. Each of the bedrooms was well furnished and luxurious. We'd defintely recommend this place.

Left on 02/23/2011 for a stay in February 2011
I have had multiple experiences with renting houses from owners and this is by far the best experience I have had. The casita is very well kept and clean. It has a wonderful kitchen for cooking all meals. Beds are very comfortable. The location is very close to the plaza and to ski santa fe. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a vacation in Santa Fe! Mark and Marta take great care of this property and it is worth a stay!

We had the great joy of gathering together as a family at Casa Encanto over Thanksgiving. We comfortably prepared a homemade feast in the well-equipped kitchen. Being together around the table, as we worked and dined by the fire, is something we will always remember. We took advantage of and enjoyed the hot tub on frigid days. The location, tucked away but so near the Plaza and Canyon Road, is great...we walked to our favorite restaurants and shops. Mark and Marta's detailed attention to a guest's comfort is noticeable and greatly appreciated. We did not have the pleasure of meeting Mark and Marta...from reading the guest book, we think only that could have improved our stay.

We have visited Santa Fe about 10 times and this trip was our best because of your hospitality and beautiful home!
We really enjoyed your adobe home and the attention to detail. It truly was luxury accommodation! The personal touches were outstanding. The kitchen is great, the beds very, very comfortable. I loved the bathroom, the jacuzzi bath tub and the hot tub under the stars.
Your adobe home is perfection!
We look forward to next time!

Our stay at Casa Encanto was a perfect choice for a long weekend in Sante Fe. The home was fantastic, with a relaxing and private atmosphere including a hot tub and a great garden area. The location is great walking distance to the heart of Sante Fe. The hostess also makes great homemade gelato the kids will love!

Eldorado Springs, COA sweet oasis of peaceful bliss.
Left on 10/24/2010 for a stay in October 2010
Casa Encanto is enchanting. It's located just a couple blocks away from the plaza and the art district on Canyon Dr. Even with the close proximity to downtown, opening the private gate is like entering another world of peace and quiet. There is a beautiful courtyard with a fountain, a covered patio with an adobe fire place, and lots of places to lounge. The house provides all the comforts one could want: large kitchen stocked with all cooking utensils, 3 adobe fireplaces (!), TVs, hot tub, and beautiful paintings from one of the owners. The owners, Mark and Marta, were charming and available to assist with any of our needs. This was the most relaxing vacation I have had in a long time! I highly recommend staying at Casa Encanto.

Wonderful, intimate space with peaceful spaces to retreat to with my favorite persons. Walking distance to everything, in a historic, beautiful and interesting neighborhood, this is a very special sanctuary from the ordinary. A very unique, luxurious and authentic place, hosted graciously, lovely to visit and hopefully return to. Not to be missed to complete the real Santa Fe experience.

we had an amazing stay here - it is a beautiful place and the entire process was smooth and problem free. It was one of our best vacation experiences ever and we plan on returning as often as we can. The proximity to the plaza in Santa Fe is ideal - a short walk through quaint neighborhoods lands you in the heart of it all, while a short walk back to the house offers privacy in a series of outdoor courtyards that are quintessentially Santa Fe.

New YorkOne beautiful casita! and One wonderful time!
Left on 09/03/2010 for a stay in August 2010
My family and I had a wonderful experience in Santa Fe primarily because of the convenient location of Casa Encanto which is close to the downtown plaza area, restaurants, jewelry and art shopping and cultural sights. The gardens on both sides of the casita were lush and in full bloom when we visited. The green of the garden plus the water fountains and outdoor barbecue grill made for wonderful family time during the cool summer evenings. I hope to visit in winter as Casa Encanto has 2 fireplaces, one in the main bedroom and a hot tub for romantic evenings! It is close to the Santa Fe ski basin too. I can't wait to come back! The beds are so comfy and the kitchen is big with every imaginable amenity. The tubs are clean and the satillo tile glimmers. Plenty of sunlight. There are french glass doors and WI -Fi Oh! the luxury! I loved it!

The soft morning light of Santa Fe greets you in this authentic, secluded hacienda. The patio gives peace, privacy and an invigorating surrounding to begin the day. The gardens are lovingly kept and the songs of the birds are beautiful accompaniment to breakfast al fresco. Inside, the rooms are masterfully furnished with a true sense of New Mexican influence and kept immaculately clean. At night, the adobe walls become alive with the glow of the fireplace, beckoning all to sit in the fire's safe circle.

Casa Encanto is an awesome house. Well, its actually two houses, the casa and the casita. Both are abode style and although newly renovated the architecture and decor are true Santa Fe. Within in the walled house, there are two spacious courtyards to enjoy the cool Santa Fe nights and a hot tub for when they get really cold. The kitchen is incredible too. Its very spacious and a great place to hang out with friends while you enjoy a margarita. The house is located right in the heart of Old Santa Fe and only a few blocks from all the hot spots - the Plaza, shopping, restaurants. There is a coffee shop right around the corner and some really nice hiking trails are a short drive away. Mark and Marta are great people too.

Centrally located; yet secluded and oh so private, this stay was a beautiful and tranquil respite from hitting all of the nearby tourist sites. Every at-home comfort at our fingertips, as well as a beautiful, contemplative, and sprawling courtyard just outside. We relaxed both inside and out; and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for making us feel pampered!

We had the pleasure of staying in this enchanted Santa Fe home during Memorial Day weekend. Strolling distance to beautiful art galleries, and a quick drive to great hiking trails. A quiet, enclosed courtyard creates the perfect sanctuary between activities to rest and recharge. Marta is a gracious host, adding her stylish touch to everything from the art on the walls to the smells of authentic Italian cooking wafting from the kitchen. We had a lovely stay!

This place allows you the opportunity of a very true Santa Fe experience. It is located in one of the best historical areas in Santa Fe. The large house is absolutely warm and charming. The large court yard was a wonder place to spend a late spring summer evening celebrating a special event with friends and family.
The managers are friendly, wonderful and very accommodating.
I hope to spent more time in the future at this lovely place. -

Left on 03/03/2010 for a stay in July 2009
It's been a great experience because the house we rented was the perfect place to make one feel part of this special town. The east side retains the flavour of tha past where adobe style homes are incredibly pretty. Marta and Mark are fantastic hosts and they have prepared the perfect welcome for us. The rooms are spacious, a lot of closets and shelves, a lovely full kitchen with everything one needs and comfortable beds. We enjoyed some peaceful time in the garden sipping Marta's Italian wine. I don't think this is part of the deal, we just had a very nice time together. I will come back!
