The home was beautiful. the readient heat was not working in multiple zones so we needed to use space heaters for two bedrooms. Other then that it was a great vacation.

Great week in late October 2012

Left on 11/07/2012 for a stay in November 2012

The main house and adjacent guesthouse accommodated our group of nine (four couples and one single lady) quite comfortably. Although our group of senior citizens did not anticipate the numerous steps associated with the entry to the house and the layout of the rooms within the house, the well-done lighting made the steps a non-issue. We enjoyed our opportunity to be together and yet have private space as desired. The kitchen and large dining table were great, but we learned that at the higher elevation we had to lengthen cooking times. The main living room and the nearby den area allowed us to either be together or to separate when we wanted. The configuration of the bedroom layouts and associated bathrooms was unique but we adapted without a problem. It was helpful that all the light switches were labeled. The supplies in the kitchen were a surprise and much appreciated as were the supplies in the bathrooms. The location was quite convenient to the central city and yet was private and quiet. We had a great time.

      Family Reunion-Casita Eskeena

Left on 10/01/2012 for a stay in September 2012

Great for one couple or couple with child. Plenty of room. Needed for overflow along with Casa Eskeena. Good location. No views if you don't have access to main house. Management was unresponsive, untruthful, unprofessional. Booked and paid for 1 house/4 nights for 10 people. Day of travel got 1 house/2 nights, then 2 houses/2 nights and family split up. Unsettling and frustrating.

Great property for 2 people! Has a sofa sleeper if needed. Access to the bathroom is through the master bath which makes it ackward for 4. But overall a great place.

      Disappointed

Left on 08/08/2012 for a stay in August 2012

I was disppointed with my first VRBO vacation. Casa Eskeena had problems. This home had mulit levels which caused some safety concerns. I was shocked to see the bathroom situation. We had only one workable shower because the master bath tub was unsafe due to the height and need for a small step. The cooling system was extremely loud and leaked at all locations during a heavy storm. There was a significant hole in a bedroom ceiling. The lighting in the house was confusing and not well lit. The furnishings looked tired. The washing machine smelled badly. The kitchen was adequately supplied. I feel that I overpaid to rent this home. I was disappointed that no one followed up on my dismay with the house.

Charming Casita, Quiet Neighborhood, Convenient Location

Left on 03/12/2012 for a stay in March 2012

All the comforts of home, the Casita Eskeena was a perfect transition between apartments for me as I recently moved to Santa Fe. The property is well landscaped and situated on a quiet block nestled away from the city buzz, yet only a few minutes from the heart of town. The group at Santa Fe Luxury Rentals treat you like family and go the extra mile to assure your every need is addressed. The guest house was nicely furnished and had everything I needed to feel cozy and at home!

A Great Place for a Family Gathering

Left on 11/28/2011 for a stay in November 2011

Our family and close friends (6 adults and 5 children all total) traveled to Santa Fe for the long Thanksgiving weekend and were very happy with our stay at Casa Eskeena. We rented the main house and the Casita - which gave us plenty of room. The Casita was perfect for the three teenage girls and the hot tub was a big hit. The house was beautiful and the views spectacular. While it would have been nice to have been within walking distance of downtown, it was only a 5 min drive - very quick and easy. Our only issue with the house was that the hot water did not get very warm in the shower. All in all, it was a fantastic house in a beautiful city.

      Your contract means nothing!

Left on 10/17/2011 for a stay in October 2011

We were told that we had to leave our property even though we had a contract. We were told it was a upgrade. It did not have WIFI, no Kiva fireplace, hot tub far from Casita.(huge wall to climb) and further from Santa Fe township. No view of the ountains either.

      Perfect location and setting

Left on 09/26/2011 for a stay in September 2011

My husband and I had a very relaxing week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is not within walking distance of placita , etc, but it is still less than 10 minutes away, and very easy access to other destinations. Loved the fully furnished kitchen and the cozy and classy house furnishings. We happened to meet the owners, and it was evident they wanted nothing but the best experience for their guests. We plan on returning next year.

      Santa Fe gem, WOW!!!!

Left on 05/01/2011 for a stay in April 2011

Highly recommend "Casita Eskeena" if you plan on staying in the Santa Fe area. We knew the minute we pulled up to the house that is was going to be good--the grounds were immaculate, as was the house the minute we opened the front door. Great comfy king sized bed in the large bedroom, great bathroom with lots of storage space, and plenty of room to move around in the living room and kitchen. We even had a garage!!!
Close to everything including grocery store, downtown Santa Fe, and lots of day trip adventures (we usually headed north it seemed, lots of hiking!)
We just loved the Santa Fe area and would MOST definately stay in Casita Eskeena again, beautiful property inside and out.
