Villa Barbara D is a graceful apartment that is part of a villa which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps four people. From Villa Barbara D you will enjoy a splendid view of the beach and of the sea. Villa Barbara D is 45 square meters (485 square feet). It features direct access to the beach and to the sea, a private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.
You will be approximately 600 meters (660 yards) from Santa Maria di Castellabate , where you will find restaurants, the shops and the beach. You will find the closest restau...rant, a grocery store at 400 meters (440 yards) and the stop for CSTP bus Salerno - Acciaroli line at 250 meters (820 feet). You will reach Villa Barbara D from the street level going down an external stairway which consists of approximately 25 steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Barbara D. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for at most one small car (the size of a Fiat Punto or smaller).
The Villa Barabara apartments are located in a tiny complex of three small three-story buildings, which have been built on the edge of a sandy beach, and that have direct access to the sea and to a reserved tract of beach.
The three villas have the external walls tiled with stones and they have been built just a few meters from the sea and from the sand beach.
The three buildings are inside a fenced area that covers a sloping tract of coast located between the road and the sea. They are almost sheer above the beach and the sea.
From every point of the complex and from the terraces of the villas you will have a very close view of the sea, of the arch made by the golden beach below, and of the bay of Santa Maria di Castellabate . The view is charming from sunrise to sunset, and the sunsets on the sea are particularly suggestive.
From June to September you will be able to enjoy a beach service that includes the use of the equipped reserved beach with beach umbrella, deck chairs and sun lounges. In the summer months bars and restaurants on the beach are open. In the other months of the year you will still be able to access the beach at no charge.
This beach earns year after year the Blue Flag award of the European Union for the clarity of the sea water.
With a short stroll along the beach you will be able to walk to the center of Santa Maria di Castellabate. There you will find a pedestrian precinct and a wide choice of cafes, restaurants and shops.
The complex is equipped with a reception where a caretaker is available to provide information and to answer questions.
From the property you will have a direct access to the sea and to a public sandy beach. You will reach it from Villa Barbara going down approximately 30 stairway steps. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas, deck chairs and sun loungers. The access to the sea is shared with other guests staying at the complex, as well as with non-resident guests. The facilities are available from the beginning of June until the end of September.
In the laundry room you will find a washing machine at your disposal.
The terrace is 25 square meters (270 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of the beach and of the sea.
The furnishings of the living room are simple and comfortable. The furnishings include two single divan beds. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker and a refrigerator with freezer. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the corridor. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room has a window with a view of the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

The con's:
- proliferation of mosquitoes on terrace in the evening - but I understand this was b/c of time of year
- apartment would be a bit small for more than a couple - but is perfect for 2 people
