Wakefield, CanadaPerfect location in Santa Monica within walking distance of Thir
Left on 03/18/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We stayed in this condo for 2 weeks in Feb. It is on the 2nd floor and there isn't an elevator. It was within walking distance of the Third St Mall, the pier and Venice Beach. The condo had everything we needed for our stay and was a good space for a couple. We had a few small issues and they were handled quickly and efficiently. The concierge was particularly helpful. We would have preferred to be on the top floor, as we were aware when anyone was above us. The location of this rental is what makes it appealing.

If you are looking for a place with a great location that's clean and updated, you will like Shellseekers. The location couldn't have been better for our teenage kids and we loved that it included bikes. Located a building away from the boardwalk, we could easily walk or ride bikes to restaurants, coffee shops and the colorful Venice boardwalk. 3rd St. Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier is also an easy bike ride away.

Had the opportunity to stay at this condo for 4 days in October. Perfect location, great to see the ocean from front window. Loved the corner spot. Close to Venice beach and to the shopping/restaurants in Santa Monica. Private parking was a huge plus. Would definately stay here again.

Lovely apartment facing Santa Monica beach and pier. Easy walking to local restaurants and bars plus 3rd street promenade. Garage parking at the apartment block if driving. Great base for exploring la.
Booking through Globe Homes and Condos was seamless. Their staff are very attentive and kept us updated thru regular emails. They arranged our lift from lax to Santa Monica and a representative met us at the apartment on arrival. Will definitely book via Globe again.
Both the apartment and Globe are highly recommended.
Many thanks

Stayed here for a week with my daughter. Apartment is true to pictures provided. Globe staff was very helpful thoughout the process and was very helpful answering questions, etc. Location cannot be beat and having an assigned parking space is great. Easy walk to pier, Main Street, Venice and other attractions. There is no a/C but was not a porblem with the ocean breeze and the abundance of windows. Looking forward to staying here again on my return trip to Santa Monica!

We wrote in the guestbook while we were there, but here goes...what a wonderful view! It was so nice to be in an apartment for a change rather than a hotel! The kitchen was well equiped. The bedroom was wonderful. The futon and pillows could have used a bit of fabreeze, but other than that was wonderfully comfortable! The surrounding area is amazing...plenty of places to eat...walking path near by...steps from Santa Monica Pier. We would definitly return!

BrisbaneDelightful Stay
Left on 06/08/2012 for a stay in May 2012
The apartment is delightfully spacious. Quality appliances - dishwasher, family size fridge, gas stove, coffee maker. Little touches were appreciated - water purifier, olive oil, ground coffee, salt, pepper, spices, toilet rolls, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent - made it very convenient for us.
Marvellous location, view of the beach and Santa Monica pier. We had lovely walks to 3rd avenue promenade and all the restaurants around the pier especially Blue Plate Oysterette. (p/s the Lobster Mac and Cheese was made to be shared- if you enjoy large chunks of lobster)
We also walked towards Venice Beach along Main Street with numerous expresso bars. Had dinner at Lula Cocina Mexicana - had great character and enjoyed the extensive menu.
All in all it was delightful -

WaconiaGreat Service, Great Vacation Rental
Left on 06/04/2012 for a stay in April 2012
I found Globe Homes and Condo's while looking at Trip advisor for vacation rentals in Santa Monica. I stayed in Suite 14 for a week. The pictures of the condo are 100% accurate of what the place actually looked like. It was well kept and and very luxurious. The kitchen was super modern offered all the cooking utensils you need (more than the stuff I have at my home :). The kitchen and living room offered great views of the ocean. The bathroom was very clean and updated. The bed in the bedroom was super comfortable. I had my own parking spot in a gated parking area for only residents and guests at the condo. The value of what you get far exceeds any other place in the Santa Monica area. The staff at Globe Homes and Condo's are very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was very simple. The agent called me up and gave me all the instructions for checking in and out. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a vacation rental in Santa Monica.

Albuquerque, New MexicoWonderful, right on the beach
Left on 10/25/2011 for a stay in October 2011
First, if you have mobility problems think twice about this one--there are stairs and they're steep. It's only one flight up, though, so if you can do stairs, this place is completely worth it.
Bright, airy, large (compared to a hotel room) and free garage parking. Across Ocean avenue from the beach--you can hear the surf at night. The street is a fairly busy side street, but even on the weekends, it's quiet at night. The staff at Globe Homes couldn't be more accomodating. Location is spectacular. Fantastic bed. We'd rent there again in a heartbeat. High end appliances, within walking distance of a lot of things. Forget the Third Street Promenade which isn't within walking distance--just a long mall with far-away parking and typical mall stores--although some of the restaurants are very good. Opt instead for the funkier Main Street, which is within walking distance and has small boutiques and local stores, and several nice restaurants.
Cons: No air conditioning (for us, not a problem, even during an Indian Summer heatwave, because of the breeze from the ocean, but it might be a problem for some). As someone else said, the windows are filthy. You can barely see out the kitchen window. Carpet in bedroom needs cleaning pretty desparately.
If most of what you're going to do is in L.A., this is far. 1.5 hours to the Walt Disney Concert Hall or Dorothy Chandler Pavillion on a week night. About the same to Hollywood if you're going to one of the movie palaces. It was worth it to us, though, because we loved being on the beach.Response from Globe Homes And Condos - 10/31/2011

Boston, MAAmazing, comfortable condo in perfect location!
Left on 07/25/2011 for a stay in July 2010
The condo was ideal in every way. Updated, high-end kitchen, bath, and furniture, with an incredibly comfortable bed. Although it does not have aC, it was completely comfortable with a superb ocean breeze. With parking underneath, walking distance to the pier, beach, farmers market, cafes and shops, it was the perfect location. Of course the ocean view was spectacular! We plan on renting there again in the future.

Good location by the beach , lots of action, short walk to great restaurants and the pier. On the downside, the windows were so dirty you couldn't see out.
