Gulf Cabana 303 is a quaint little place to stay
with great beach access. I wouldn't recommend
more than 4 people. 2 adults and 2 kids, otherwise,
it is pretty tight. Gulf Place area is a great location.
Bring your own beach towels! Laundry access just down
the hall. Pull out sofa bed not comfortable. -

enjoyed this experience,the first we ever tried,loved it,loved it,the condo was super nice,made our stay in santa rosa so much more fun.enjoyed the pool and surroundings,not really a beach person but did enjioy the beach also.will definitey do this again,thanks destin getaways youre #1 in our book.the only complaint was the bed,could not wait to get home and sleep in my bed,but enjoyed our stay,again thanks...

Rental agent was super. Location was fantastic with fine amenities nearby.View was fine. Unfortunately the bed was worse than sleeping on the floor, very cheap brand and model. I normally prefer hotels to condos because of this problem. Nothing really matters if you can't sleep.

The condos were very clean and nice. We also had a great view of the Ocean. The breakfast place had great muffins and pastries but I wouldn't recommend a breakfast sandwich unless you like them warmed up in a microwave. I wasn't aware of the poisonous snakes that would be in the ponds next to the pools. Animal control actually had to come remove one while we were at the pool. We arrived april 18 and departed april 25. The pools were supposed to be heated and they had already shut them off for the season so all of the pools were very cold to swim or relax in. We asked the staff on two separate occasions if the pool heaters could be turned back on and they said no. So we were in the Ocean more than the pools. Overall and average vacation.

My wife and I enjoyed our 8days at Gulf Place Cabana. Overall I'd give it 8 out of 10. Check in was easy. The rooaccess to our private beach was directly across old 98 hwy. However, we had to rent our chairs and umbrellas from a provider who required a 3 day rental. No effort was made to clean up the vast amount of seaweed that accumulated overnite.
However, our room accomodations were pleasant and the Gulf Place block had a nice pizzaria and other eateries. The location is between Destin and Panama City, so shopping is a short drive from their either direction. We would definitely go back in the future! -

After spending time on 30a, we will not be returning to Destin any time soon! First, the check-in process was the best we have ever experienced in the area (after 10 years of renting), you simply tell them your name, they give you an awesome welcome packet and you are on your way!
The condo was great, with a view of the ocean...The place was well stocked with entertainment and beach accessories. The Kitchen was well maintained and had everything you need to cook a great meal. The two bunk-beds had their own little covey, with a bathroom adjacent. The living room tv had a dvd/blu-ray player, but not the one in the bedroom, so pack accordingly (especially if you have young ones who go to be early - leaving you and yours with the bedroom tv). The bathroom s were great - having two was an added bonus. The balcony was large and had ample seating. The pool area was above average and extremely clean and well maintained.
The beach access path was very convenient and accessible. The beaches were less crowded than anything Destin has to offer - the clientele was also an added bonus, as most of the beach-goers either lived there or rented - only one public beach access within a few miles of the area.
Gulf Place proper had many interesting shops, restaurants and trendy businesses to keep you occupied. You could get a massage, do a day at the spa, eat at some great low-key restaurants or do it up at one of the bars. There is even an independent baby-sitting service that you can utilize while staying in Gulf Place!
A great stay...we will most assuredly be returning in the future.
