Five bedroom 3 bathroom Sleeps 12 to 14: 1 king, 2 queens, 2 twins, 2 sets of twin bunks, this is the Grayton Beach vacation home you've been waiting for. Views to the gulf and Grayton Dune Park. Furnished with a fun, caribbean flair, this home includes a 14'x26' heated pool with waterfall and "coolcrete" decking. 75 yards to the beach walk. Pool is heated off season for $300 week. Toulouse Mongoose will be a favorite vacation spot for the entire family. The front porch has rocking chairs and a porch swing for those gulf breezes and Grayton starry nights. 49022Fantastic Family Vacation at Toulouse Mongoose

This was our third trip to Toulouse in Grayton Beach. This house has everything a family needs to make a memorable vacation. We spent the mornings at the beach and the afternoons at the pool. Our kids never wanted to get out of the water, especially since the pool was heated! We could ride our bikes with the kids without worrying about traffic and made frequent stops to the local coffee shop up the road. The interior of the house is immaculate, roomy, and very nicely decorated.
The beach is fantastic! The walk was minimal and the beach area was quiet and kid friendly, especially since that part of the beach is in the state park. If you walk down the beach a bit you can even see what the locals brought in from a day of fishing and the kids loved that! There is driving allowed on that part of the beach but not near the house!
Overall, Toulouse Mongoose is a perfect getaway for any family, and in a perfect location. Thanks! -

While the house was as advertised, the surrounding beach was not. The ad says you can rent chairs and umbrellas, when in actuality, you can not rent these on the beach area near this house. Very dissapointing for someone in their late 60s. I was force to carry these things to and from the beach. Not a real vacation.
Also, the locals on the beach were less than friendly (What's with the cars and trucks?). I put my chair down a reasonable distance from the beach only to have someone drive his SUV between me and the gulf. And the next door neighbor was a real pain.
I won't rent this house again or for that matter on this section of beach. Gulf Trace is much friendlier.
To the house's credit, it had the nicest pool I have seen. But it didn't fix the distractions.
