asheville, North Carolina, USAGreat Location, House needs some attention.
Left on 08/24/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Pro's: Great location to beach and pool, plenty of sleeping space for large groups and kids, outdoor shower, plenty of parking, limited gulf views.
Con's: No real dining area (table pushed against wall in living room), small general living spaces, needs maintenance (cracks in fridge, dishwasher, icemaker doesn't work, mold around vents, screens busted on porch, some bedding needs to be replaced), dryer missing knobs, very little porch furniture and what is there is old and cheap.
Overall, the house is in a very nice communities with good amenities. It is an attractive home with a lot of potential, but needs a little bit of work done. Also, I called the owner about the busted screen and the fact that when we arrived there was trash piled up outside that we had to pick up (2 bags worth!) and received no response! Didn't care for that after being charged a $200 cleaning fee. Also, rental company (beach seekers) is very difficult to work with! -

WVPretty House Not Thrilled
Left on 05/09/2009 for a stay in April 2009
First and foremost... I loved the community that this house is in. The house itself is beautiful. I highly reccomend the Seagrove Beach area. We had some problems during our stay though. The house was dusty, the internet did not work, the phone did not work, there were light bulbs out in numerous areas of the house, the dishes were disgustingly dirty(many with crusted food on them. We could not call the office, or owner, as the phone did not work, and our cell was out of our coverage area, so when we checked out, we notified the girl working the desk at the realty office and she acted like she could care less. She just gave us a card of a Guest Services guy... We have not been contacted back by him.
Would I reccomend this house? Yes. Was I happy with the house? Yes however I was not happy with the management company. -

Great house. Great location. Incredible beach. I have been all over Florida and the 18 mile stretch of 30-A is the most beautiful. The wild space and state parks are magnificent. The planning and architecture are a triumph. Local oysters and shrimp are affordable and delicious. Awesome place for kids and families.
Rental agency is nearby and they are easily reached and responsive. We had major problems with mail forwarding, however, so make sure you check in with your post office, the local post office and the rental agency to insure mail is forwarded properly.
Be advised that dogs are not allowed on beach without a permit and you can't get a permit unless you own property. That said, we took our dog on the beach all the time and only encountered the law once -- and they were very cool. Some pain in the ass seniors like to sit in their condos and call police if you are taking the dog on the beach at off hours or off leash. Old people can be very annoying and the police seem to feel the same way.
Nitpicky stuff: there are about 60 light switches in the house and they are dizzying. I was there for a month and never quite figured them out. They should be labeled.
Living room and dining room furniture and bar stools could stand an upgrade to something more comfortable.
Blender is horrible. BBQ grill is ready for retirement.
Please take a phillips head and tighten the knobs in the kitchen. Every one is loose and there isn't a screwdriver in the house.
Overall, a terrific place to enjoy a magnificent beach with family or friends.

TexasWonderful & Beautiful home-great location!

We loved a touch of seaglass! My family loved the area. We had
7 in our group and the home had plenty of room. The house
had everything we needed from cooking utensils to beach gear.
After a day at the beach we enjoyed setting on the balconies in
the ocean breeze. It was in a beautiful neighborhood with a
great pool and tennis court for use. (We loved that the ice cream
man came everyday, it was so much fun)! It was just a quick
relaxing stroll to the beach! What more could you ask for? We
would love to return! -

Atlanta, GAWonderful September at the Beach!
Left on 10/01/2008 for a stay in September 2008
I just spent a week at Touch of Seaglass in Seagrove Beach in September with family and friends. I did NOT want to leave. It was so gorgeous down there. The house was amazing, about 200 yards from the beach. The amenities were great. We had a slight problem getting the wireless to connect but the owner and her staff were available to help us and were very efficient.
The management property was very nice and helpful. They were right up the street so anything extra that we needed, we just had to ask.
I will definitely be back!

Atlanta, GAPlenty of room and privacy
Left on 09/25/2008 for a stay in June 2008
I rented this home for my 2 daughters and their 2 friends. The experience was good overall, but we did have some unpleasant surprises. We arrived on Saturday, to find the a/c not working, this was corrected on Monday. On Sunday the smoke detector went off(no smoke) and would not stop. We had to dismantle it. My daughter went to get an extra blanket and the closet had a water leak and everything was mildewed. We were not offered any kind of consideration for our inconvenience. The bedrooms are spacious and well located for privacy and the cleaning staff was great. The TV area is small and the furniture uncomfortable. It was an ordeal to pull out the table to eat. I feel sure that some of these complaints have been corrected.

A Touch of Seaglass is a beautiful home on Seagrove Beach, FL. It is a very short distance to walk to the beach and there are no busy roads to cross or stairs to climb down.
The main reason that we chose this house was because it was pet-friendly and because the main living and dining areas are on the first floor. Our dog is 12-years old and doesn't do stairs well, but in this home it isn't a problem.
There is about three steps off the porch and you are at your car and makes for easy loading/unloading of your belongings.
The rental is very clean and well maintained and it feels like being at home.
Another family stayed with us and everyone had a great time.
Rent this home and you will not be disappointed.

This home was perfect for our family of six. We loved the location. The beach was a 5 minute walk. We were close to Seaside. The house was very clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. I loved the open kitchen. The master bedroom and bathroom was wonderful. The negative was the small swimming pool, but we spent most of our time at the beach. We would definitely stay here again.
