Laundry room, kitchen with large bar that seats 4, plus all modern appliances. Dining area seats 6. 55967Perfect house for an enjoyable vacation

This house was so much better than the pictures show. When our family of 4 with two teenagers arrived after driving for two days from Texas the house felt very welcoming and relaxing. We did have a problem when we arrived with Sand Castle Escapes as they gave us a code to get into the house that was a word and there was a numeric pad on the outside of the house so we couldn't get in. We misunderstood Sand Castle Escapes and thought they were closed on Sundays and we couldn't get anyone to call us back under the emergency number. We found the owners number on a web site and they were so helpful. They were helpful from the beginning in making our reservation.
This house had eveything we needed such as a blender, grilling utensils, lots of extra towels, even beach umbrellas and a couple of chairs to sit in at the beach. The only thing we were really missing was pot holders to pick something up out of the oven and maybe a few more cup towels.
It would have been nice to have a view of the gulf, but it was so nice to go out onto the back balcony everyday and read and to hear all the sounds of the swamp like lake behind the house. It was a very nice view and the owners put really nice new wicker furniture out on the patio. The only thing we were disappointed in was that we could never figure out how to turn on the lights in the back that are suppose to illuminate the landscaping behind the house.
The beach was a very short drive down the street, but we were not impressed with the public beach when we went to in Santa Rosa. It seemed dirty and there was a lot of seaweed. We went to a public beach down by the Crab Trap in Destin and it was really nice. I recommend trying out different beaches. The beach was very nice and we did not see any jelly fish or sharks like I was afraid of.
I would recommend this house to everyone. It really was very nice and it made our stay so relaxing. Being right across from the swimming pool was great as you could see when the pool wasn't as crowded so you and your family could enjoy it and my kids loved
swimming every morning and evening.
It would be nice if the owners would replaced the TV in the upstairs queen bedroom as it had a buzzing sound and not a very good picture.
Also a note to Sand Castle Escapes that they need to clean the master bathroom shower better.
This was a great vacation. We will refer other people to this house. -

Wow...we were so excited when we entered our beach house! It was everything we expected and beyond. When you say "home away from home", well this really is!! It has every possible thing you have at home and more. The rooms were large and beautiful....we will definitely come back to visit. The beach access was soo close and shopping right around the corner. My entire family enjoyed the stay!!
