This 3 year old house has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, oversized decks, community pool and gulf and lake views. Only 75 yards to the beach. The first floor faces the pool and has it's own living area with bar, mini-fridge, and sleeper sofa. Also on the first floor is a Queen bedroom with private bath, a bunk room with built-in flat screen tvs for the kids, another private bath and a full-size laundry.The second floor provides wonderful gulf views, an oversized balcony, a large living area complete with surround sound and plasma tv, and a beautiful kitchen with marble counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and walk-in pantry. When we arrived at the rental office we were given key, direction.etc. No one said anything about the pool being closed. As we pulled into the house the pool was green and had a CLOSED sign on the gate with no explanation. The home was very nice but obviously had not been rented for a long time. There were cob webs and general dust from not being cleaned in a while. After calling the office with no response we drove back over. Lloyd was kind enough to move us to an open house, About Thyme, which was beautiful. However, I can not imagine what might have happened if this had been a busy week and no other houses available.
This house was billed and shown with a great pool. The office obvioulsy knew that there had been problems. It seems to me that they should have been checking on that to make sure it had been taken care of.
We really enjoyed the About Thyme home. The location to the beach and to Rosemary were great. We did have a problem with the down stairs ac freezing up. We talked with the maintainence peolple concerning this. -

The house was beautiful but we did have some major issues. We rented the home because the pool is literally 10 feet from the front door. The pool had never been cleaned from the winter and was green. Our main view from the house was a green, dirty pool. There are not enough hot water heaters in the home so only 4 people could shower and have hot water. That is not sufficient for a 5 bedroom home as usually people all shower at once when coming home from the beach. The house was not cleaned well when we arrived. The sheets were not all washed, the duvet covers were dirty with food and there was no broom/dustpan or vacuum for us to do quick cleans during the week. The rental agency did give us back 10% which was nice but all in all I would not rent here again. i kow the area well and there are many other nice houses in this area to rent. There is also no wi-fi/internet access in the home. To their credit, hey don't advertise it as having wi-fi so it was our fault for not looking at the description. We assumed it did becuase most rentals in this area and this price range come with wi-fi. We rent in this subdivision at least once a year and have had wi-fi in every home for 6 years now.

My family had a great time at this beach house. We come every year and this was one of our best trips ever. My three daughters and their husbands really enjoyed the pool. It was very private. My two grandsons loved all the tv's and also the beach area by the lake.
The house was great. Large screen tv's and nice bedrooms. No complaints from us.
