Villa EtnAmare is situated up on a hill overlooking the green East coast of Sicily, between Mount Etna and the Ionian sea. The building is divided into 4 units with private terrace and is surrounded by a land of five hectares with a huge swimming pool, rich orchards, olive trees, flowers and silent footpaths. Villa Etnamare lies only 500 metres away from Santa Venerina, a village famed for the production of sweets and liqueurs. The 'Russo' bar is well-known for the production of sweets: 'cornetti al miele' (croissants filled with honey) and almond pastries.
Santa Venerina is an excellent base from which to explore eastern Sicily thanks to its very strategic position halfway between Catania and Taormina. The village distance 5 minutes from the highway A18 Catania-Messina from which (in an average time of 20 minutes) it is possible to reach the most beautiful places of Eastern Sicily. clean well equipped apartment. Pool is very good , large and a fabulous place to relax. Orange, lemon and grapefruit trees in a lovely garden overlooking the sea and on the other side Etna herself.

A wonderfully relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of the world. On the outskirts of Santa Venerina, this special place will provide you with a memorable holiday. The facilities are excellent from the large swimming pool to the fully equipped villa/ apartment. A great location to bring a large group of people as the various villas can accommodate up to 25-30 people with 2 swimming pools and wonderful lemon and orange groves. Each morning you can pop out to the orange grove and pick your oranges to juice --- the evening the lemons can be used for the G&T; on the terrace. You can get your 5 a day !!! Would definitely recommend this location and thanks to angelo, Nadia and Fabio for the hospitality !

Very nice apartment with an incredible view and a lovely big pool. Very relaxed area and a good base to explore this part of Sicily. If we ever come to Sicily again we we be staying here. Thanks again Nadia for all your help.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per cinque giorni a giugno 2012.
Le camere sono pulitissime e la struttura è nuova di zecca.
Vicino agli appartamenti c'è una piscina favolosa che si affaccia sul mare da un lato e sull'Etna dall'altro. La vista è splendida. Mia figlia di 3 anni si è goduta la piscina mentre io riuscivo finalmente a rilassarmi un po' sotto il sole... un miracolo!
Da Santa Venerina si può raggiungere facilmente Catania o Taormina, ma è necessario avere un'auto. Lo stesso vale per le spiagge, che distano alcuni chilometri. Se non sapete in che spiaggia andare, chiedete ai proprietari… a noi hanno indicato una spiaggia adatta ai bambini, e abbiamo persino ricevuto in regalo dell'ottima frutta coltivata nel loro terreno!
Sono stati disponibilissimi, gentili e davvero accoglienti. -

Fantastic place surrounded by the green of the nature and positioned among a splendid sea and the stately and imposing Etna, thanks to this particular and magic location the residence is always characterized by an absolute silence and a fresh and relaxing air what it gives way to appreciate even more a marvelous panorama while you are being dipped in a splendid swimming pool giving the feeling to have of forehead the whole shine of Sicily
the residences are always rich of comfort and the present personnel and to the service for every demand, the ideal place to vacation in serenity and complete comfort, let's recommend it warmly to everybody

Nous avons passé un bon séjour, nous etions quatre, une grande chambre avec un grand lit et le canape convertible. l'ensemble etait correct, les personnes qui s'occupent de la résidence etaient tres acceuillantes. le seul gros problème est l'isolation des appartements, le bruit de la cage d'escalier et la porte de communication entre les deux appartements.

Villa Etnamare est divisée en 4 appartements et est entouré d'un jardin de 5 hectares, avec une grande piscine. Nos appartements "Girasole" et "Gelsomino" peuvent être combinés par une porte intérieure. La porte est protégé par une tente insonorisée. Nous sommes désolés que vous n’ayez pas été entièrement satisfaits de votre séjour. Nous profiterons de cette expérience pour faire en sorte que cela n'arrive jamais plus. A cet égard, notre tapissier nous a dit qu'il peut amortir la porte en bois comme dans un studio d'enregistrement, et nous ferons cela dès que possible. Néanmoins, votre inquiétude au sujet des bruits venant de la pièce voisine a été présentée à l'arrivée, quelques jours avant les autres clients habitent l’autre appartement. Dans mon expérience, quand on se focalise sur un problème potentiel, même si le problème se révèle fondé, il est susceptible d'être vécue comme pire qu’il est réellement. En outre, puisqu'il s'agit d'un bâtiment entièrement neuf avec murs en béton armé (a cause de l’épaisseur on a du installer répéteurs de signal pour le Wi-Fi), il est très peu probable d'entendre des bruits provenant de la cage d'escalier, principalement parce qu'il n'ya pas de porte qui connecte cette dernière aux appartements.
Même si nous ne sommes pas parfaits, nous mettons toujours notre cœur dans tout ce que nous faisons et nous cherchons toujours d’apporter des améliorations, tout ça afin d’offrir un séjour merveilleux dans notre endroit beau et tranquille. Nadia (propriétaire). -

The name says it all - Etnamare - The perfect location between the coast and Mount Etna. The apartments have amazing views of either the sea, mountain or both.
Apartments are well equiped, clean and a good size with a large accompanying veranda. There is also a large pool which is surrounded by an orange grove.
The place is amazing and well recommended! Nadia, the manager and her father make you feel welcome and are always on hand to help too.
I can't wait to go back :)

The short story is: we did something that we've never done before, we visited the same place a second time ... and we do not exclude to do it again, maybe to investigate Sicily also once in a different season.The longer story: Etnamare belongs to the most perfect places I've ever been to. We are travelling ...as a family with 2 kids (4 and7). Etnamare is a great place for many different tours, e.g. within 20 minutes you are on top of Etna or down at the sea, you have the sandy beaches of Catania and places to snorkel like acitrezza, Taormina or the valley of alcantara are close. The house itself is very spacious and comfortably equipped. There is a huge (really huge) garden attached to the house and the pool is the center of it. Angelo and Nadia are perfect hosts and they belong to the good reasons why one wants to visit this place again. The pool is even nicer than you can see from the pictures. From some perspectives the sea and the pool truely seem to melt together and turning around gives you full view on Etna's activity. This year we "only" had smoke but last year we saw it twice in real action, something that we will never forget for sure. Also important to mention that there has both times been very good contacts between guests from the different appartments, especially important for the kids. The terrace and the opportunity for having a barbecue makes it also a great place for a superb italian feast.Angelo and Nadia, thanks for having us as your guests. Ci vediamo.

We spent a week at Etnamare in July 2012. The apartement was lovely, but at times too small for four people (2 adults and 2 children).
Everything was perfectly functional. The kitchen well equipped. The landscape beautiful and the view megnificent. It was very clean and tidy.
The owners are present on the property and very attentive to their guests' needs.

Beautiful apartment! Everything looks brand new and of good quality. Very large and well furnished. Nice that just four apartments, we rarely even had to share the pool. Pool fantastic, set in lovely gardens with fruit trees. Huge private patio with barbecue. We were in 'Gardenia' with lovely views of Etna.
Angelo, Nadia and Mario are perfect hosts - really helpful without being at all intrusive. We arrived late on a Saturday night, and Nadia generously provided us with a basket of goodies for our breakfast. Charming angelo loves to share fresh fruit from the garden. Excellent English spoken by Nadia and Mario.
Stunning location with wonderful views of Etna and the sea. You can even see the lights from the mainland. Approximately half an hour from Catania (airport and fantastic market), convenient for the south side ascent of Etna, Taormina, and only about an hour to Milazzo for a cruise to the aeolian Islands (recommend an evening trip to Stromboli - highlight of our trip).
One thing to be aware of, the apartment is extremely well-equipped, but was missing a DVD player - could be useful to take something, especially if you have children.

Séjour agréable dans cet endroit calme avec deux magnifiques vues (une sur l'Etna et une autre sur la mer). La location est conforme aux descriptions faites sur le site. Les lits sont confortables, les douches très propres et l'accès à internet est bon (Wifi). La résidence est très récente et très bien entretenue. Les propriétaires (Nadia, Angelo et "secretario") sont chaleureux et très discrets. Nous avons apprécié la piscine à débordement semi-olympique. Le logement se situe à deux pas de Taormina et Catane (env. 0:20 en voiture). Nous avons visité une partie de la Sicile (Syracusa, Taormina, Etna, Isola Bella, Spoleto, Aci Trezza, Santa Maria La Scala, Noto, La Scala dei Turchi, Agrigento, la vallei dei tempi, etc.). Cette région est vraiment magnifique. Nous recommandons cette location.
Pleasant stay in this quiet place with two tremendous views (one of Etna and another on the sea). The lease conforms to the descriptions on the site. The beds are comfortable, very clean showers and internet access is good (WiFi). The residence is very recent and very well maintained. The owners (Nadia, Angelo and "secretario") are warm and very discreet. We enjoyed the semi-Olympic pool. The property is situated close to Taormina and Catania (approx. 0:20 drive). We visited a part of Sicily (Syracusa, Taormina, Etna, Isola Bella, Spoleto, Aci Trezza, Santa Maria La Scala, Noto, La Scala dei Turchi, Agrigento, vallei dei tempi, etc..). This area is really beautiful. We recommend this rental.
