For the money I would look elsewhere

Left on 09/28/2012 for a stay in September 2012

The grounds and location are great. Nice pool and wood oven but the villa is dreary! The place is poorly maintained, dirty, poorly appointed and in need of refurbishment. Dust everywhere, mildew in the bathroom. It got even worse once we went to bed - the bed was damp! Even the crib provided on request (for an additional 50 euro) had a strong musty mildew smell. The following day we tried to dry the bedding and the crib outside in the sun to no avail. Upstairs the double bed was not as damp but very uncomfortable. And the part of the family that stayed there had to be extra careful to avoid bumping their heads on the sloped ceiling. We have been to the area before, but never so disappointed.

Marvellous place - superb service !

Left on 09/05/2012 for a stay in August 2012

This villa is wonderful for a family with young children. Totally private, but within a gated development, it couldnt be safer. There is a lovely double room and good twin room on the ground floor. The first floor has a superb terrace, running the length of the two bedrooms.

Life here is for living outside and there is an immense table on the tiled terrace that surrounds the house. We had several wonderful meals here but the best by far was cooked for us by Carmine Cacace, the Naples Villas Event Specialist. And can that guy make an event special! Everything was arranged for us with ease, grace and charm as well as plenty of laughs to go with it.

There is some impressive antique furniture inside, as well as some that has seen better days; however, this means you don't have to worry about the children ruining it! The washing machine could be better.

The pool area is newly refurbished and clean, though without a shallow end. Children do need to be closely supervised in it but you have to do that anyway.

If you want a comfortable, relaxing holiday, then this is the place for you.

A brilliant holiday in a lovely villa. The location is superb and secure. My two young boys loved the pool and gardens, especially picking fresh cherries of the trees. The service provided by Sorrento Holidays was superb, thank you for a most memorable holiday.

Quiet, tranquil, warm sun, sitting by the pool, relaxing

Left on 06/23/2011 for a stay in June 2011

We really liked the villa but as it was so expensive we were surprised to see broken, rotten boards by the pool and the patio had lots of weeds. Check that the pool is in working order...it took 3 days to fix it during our stay for which we got a discount. It's a cool spacious house and the grounds have a relaxing feel to them. I would recommend it if you have the money!

A good house to stay for a fantastic holiday

Left on 10/15/2010 for a stay in July 2010

We have just nice ting to say about the service, from both Sorrento Holidays and the owner of the villa.
The villa are perfect for two families or a group of friends that want peace and quiet combined with private pool, close to village and easy access to Sorrento. Either by car or bus. Busstop are just five minutes walk from the gate of the villa.
Very nice place to stay if you want to go to Sorrento, Positano/Amalfi, Capri or even Napoli and Pompeii.

A small drawback was the wooden boards around the pool, they should be change. Some were broken and seemed rotten.

Otherwise we were very happy to stay here and would love to come back another year.

      As good as expected

Left on 10/13/2010 for a stay in September 2010

So often holiday destinations can be a dissappointment. The amalfi coast lived up to all my expectations and staying in a small town away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal towns gave us the relaxation we craved.
The house we rented was really well appointed and in a lovely position.
