One Bedroom - Sleeps 2+2 - Sea View Terrace and Balcony

Located in the 'saddle' of a narrow range of mountains which divides the Coast of Sorrento from that of Amalfi, allowing extensive sea views from the furnished terrace and outdoor spaces with well cared for lawns rich in flowers, Costanza apartment is on the upper level of a large villa occupied by friendly but discreet owner who will be available to help whenever you need their attention.

Access to this apartment is by taking a staircase of approx. 15 steps from the driveway / car park and throu...gh the large sea view terrace. Entrance from the terrace into comfortably furnished lounge / dining room with open plan kitchen area, well equipped with fridge/freezer, gas cooker and electric oven, microwave. Small laundry room with washing machine, shower room. Stairway to upper level takes you to the en-suite double bedded room with air conditioning and balcony with side sea views.

In the centre of Colli di Fontanelle, which is about 800 m. you will find a supermarket, grocery shop, restaurant, bar and SITA bus stop.

Additional Location Information

Colli di Fontanelle, hamlet of Sant'Agnello, is located on top of the Sorrento Peninsula hills. Its name derives from the dozens of water springs that there were in ancient times. This is popular for the charming panoramas: from the main square Piazza Carlo Sagrisanti, at 318 meters above sea level, you will admire the beauty of Sant'Agnello, Piano di Sorrento and Mea, with the Gulf of Naples on the background. Southwards there is a splendid view of the Gulf of Salerno and Arcipelago Li Galli, composed by three wonderful small islands: Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda and Briganti. Passing for these islands, according to the legend, Ulysses asked to be led to the mast of his ship, to not to be tempted from the captivating voices of the Sirens, whose songs seduced sailings and inducted them to crash into the rocks.

After the bustle and noise of the tourist centres along this coast, the position of Costanza is very quiet and peaceful.
It is 800 metres from the little square of Colli Di Fontanelle where you can find the nearest bus stop, restaurants, supermarket and small shops.
The larger, and well-known town of Sorrento is about 5 Km. from the Villa, and from here there are ferry boats and hydrofoils to Naples, Capri, Ischia, Amalfi and Positano, as well as go on mini-cruises. You must indeed take a tour of the coast from the sea.
The nearest railway station (Circumvesuviana line to Pompeii, Naples) is also in Sorrento.
The nearest beach is the pebble beach of Sant'Agnello (4 Km.). The Amalfi Coast / Positano is about 14 Km. away from house. The distance to Naples is 55 Km.
A car is recommended if you are staying in this property. However there are frequent and regular SITA bus service, down to Sorrento as well as to Positano and Amalfi.
