LIVING ROOM - DINNING ROOM

The Living Room area features a 40 inch LED Samsung TV, featuring channels such as BBC, CNN International, HBO, Fox Sports Premium, etc., it also has a music system with AM/FM, CD and Ipod player/charger.

THE KITCHEN - COOKING, ETC.:

Our Kitchen provides a complete service for 6, including white china, coffee mugs, soup bowls, and glasses. Also provided: baking ware, complete set of Teflon(™) pots and pans, along with stainless steel sauce/frying pans. In addition, serving dishes and serving bowls in different sizes along with a complete set of kitchen tools including Chef’s knives.

We strive to provide the basic necessities after a long and exhausting trip. Ground and instant coffee are available, and a big assortment of black and herbal teas. Sugar, sweeteners, and creamer. In addition, you will find bottled water in the refrigerator.

Also provided salt, pepper, (fresh ground and regular), all basic spices (garlic, onion powder, oregano, rosemary) ExtraVirgin olive oil and canola oil. The rule of thumb is: we provide basic items upon arrival, but if something runs out, please replace it with same, as a courtesy to the next guest.

Appliances: Electric Coffee maker , blender, electric chopper. electric hand mixer, toaster oven, microwave oven, and an electric toaster.

MAIN BEDROOM - BATHROOM

The Main Bedroom consists of a queen size bed, two night tables, a dresser and a 32 inch LED Samsung TV. There are extra pillows and blankets in the closet.

The oil paintings in the bedroom were commissioned in October 2012 and they depict Parque Forestal below. There is also a shopping cart in case you venture out to the huge produce/cheese/meat market around the corner and 3 blocks down the street (La Vega ), and a portable vertical steamer. The main bathroom, is a full bath complete with a bathtub. We provide a hair dryer, electric curling iron, and a flat iron.

GUEST BEDROOM - BATHROOM

The second bedroom features a full size bed, and two night tables. The closet contains extra pillows/blankets, a steam iron, a table top ironing board, and a vacuum cleaner.

It is also a complete bathroom, with a bathtub (smaller than the Master’s bedroom). There is also a scale.

BALCONY/TERRACE

Sweeping views of Andes, the river and the park. Unobstructed views of San Cristóbal Hill, and at night the Virgin Mary shines on its summit. Just stunning!. At night the views are magical, the busy city seems to pause under your balcony.

The wicker furniture in the balcony is from a small town south of Santiago, Pomaire, known by its clay modeling artisans. They clay plates on the walls, also come from Pomaire and the artist that painted them has been doing that for over 30 years.Read more

Additional Location Information

The neighborhood is located across the beautiful Forestal Park, perfect place for strolling or people watching, and the museum of Fine Arts. The Mapocho River runs though the city and the condo overlooks these three landmarks. St. Cristóbal Hill, where the Santiago Zoo is located, is a few blocks away. Bellavista district (restaurants, cafés and night life) and Patronato district (local designer's boutiques, clothing shoppes, and everything accessories) is from, literally, downstairs (Patronato) to 6 blocks away (Bellavista). The Subway ("Metro") is the fastest method of transport in Santiago, and there are three stations located 2-3 blocks from the apartment (Bellas Artes, Cal y Canto and Patronato stations). Taxis are also an unexpensive option for short runs and may be flagged down in any street. Taxis are safe.
