I have visited Santo Domingo, several times, and this was by far, the best place, that I have stayed. Starting with what is important, for me, safety! The building is located, in a great, quiet, safe location. Upon arrival, there is a security person, at the main entrance, 24/7. There is a secured parking area, with ample space, for up to 4 cars. The apartment itself, was very clean, with lots of room. There are two bedrooms, each having its own full bathroom. There was plenty of storage space, in the apartment. The kitchen is just like home. There is a dining area, and large livingroom. There is also a balcony,
with a great view. This apartment, will make you feel, like you are at home. It has internet, and air condition. There are lots of restaurants and supermarkets, near. Mitch was the perfect host, with no hidden agenda. He was very friend, and offered his help, if needed. There was no hidden cost, and the rental was simple. He went above and beyond, to make us feel comfortable. I would recommend this apartment, to anyone! I will also be back, for sure. -

I've been to Santo Domingo a few times, this apartment was very nice and impressive to my guests, felt like my home, not a rental. Mitch was great from the beginning, we actually became friends and did the town a few nights, he even got me a one week guest pass to Golds Gym which was a great bonus. The doorman was really friendly and always helped when I needed, the apartment has 4 dedicated parking spaces in the garage, and the balcony has really nice ocean views. I like that the internet was fast and allowed for making conference calls and uploading files easily, which allowed me to work while vacationing. Maid service was just what I needed, she did all my housekeeping and even laundered clothes and folded them. She can cook too! Will return to this apartment without a doubt.

Siendo una familia con hijos, lo que buscamos es comfort, seguridad, accesibilidad en fin, un lugar tan comodo como nuestro propio hogar y aqui lo encontramos! El check in fue de lo mas sencillo, Mitch fue muy amable y practico, llo que nos ofrecio por fotografia era exactamente y un poco mas a lo que nos otorgo. Los espacios amplios, la cocina con todo funcionando, los servicios sanitarios en orden, cercano a lugares de entretenimiento, mall, cines, restaurantes, inclusive un supermercado 24 hrs abierto. Nuestra estadia fue muy comoda, ahora al volver ya no tenemos que seguir buscando hotel, simplemente nos contactamos con Mitch y el nos tendra la mejor opcion.

First, let me say that Piantini is one of the best areas to live or vacation in Santo Domingo. This apartment is second to none when it comes to location and proximity to shopping,quality supermarkets, Gold's Gym, etc. Prior to arriving in Santo Domingo my concern was to find an apartment that would fit my " picky " requirements. As an Americano, I prefer hot water, high speed internet, air condition, 24 hour scurity and a close business center, Whole Foods caliber markets and a comfortable gym ( a gym rat ) nd if possible free of cock roaches. Initially, this seemed very difficult until I met Mitch. ALL of the amenities were available and closr than I expected for an affordable rental rate. We had to work out a few kinks at first, however this is to be expected and we were accomodated immdediately upon a request. In the DR, most so called agents/brokers use being a foreigner against you when it comes to sec. deposit and rental rates, however Mitch and this apartment was a great value with none of the games that one may experience when leasing short term.I looked a t several aprtments in Zona Colonial before arriving in Piantini. I would definitely recommend my family , friends and clients. GREAT JOB!!

***Excellence in Rentals*** Five stars
To Start, the manager Mitch is the truly the coolest person I have ever rented from. He really makes you feel at home. The live-in maid service (what can I say---can cook, wash, clean, and friendly). Now for the apartment, just take a look at the pictures and believe them for what they are because it is immaculate. The pictures do not do justice for the real thing. The apartment is very spacious in a very nice neighborhood with a seating room, living room, dining room and a large kitchen with balconies from the North and South sides of the apartment. The elevator only goes to one apartment per floor making each apartment private. They amenities are great as well that will make you feel at home. The location of Piantini is the best in Santo Domingo from my perspective. The acropolis Mall which has a Hooter's, TGI Friday's and Outback Steakhouse for the american travelers is literally next door to the apartment. The Blue Mall, which is exclusive containing Louis Vuitton and Versace, types of stores. I love this place and will rent from Mitch again.
