I have been to Santo Domingo about a half dozen times and each time I've stayed in a mid-range hotel. Wanting to find something different I was looking for a higher-end condo. After speaking with Mitch (who is the property manager) I booked a different condo but because of the owner's surprise visit I was given this condo instead. Due to the change I was given a 10% discount which was fair. Mitch spoke perfect English and greeted us upon arrival. He answered emails and calls promptly and was a straight up and honest guy.
I'm a pretty easy going guy and really don't have any complaints, the place was on the main floor, had a big balcony, amble parking, nice decor, and two big bedrooms. The maid was nice although she didn't speak a lick of english. Perhaps the best part of the condo were the Bose speakers and the wifi which was reliable. 2 flat screen tv's with satellite and air conditioning. Right next to Bella Vista mall and a block away from Chef Pepper (best restaurant in the world)
The only complaint I have was that the main bathroom was connected to both bedrooms, not really a big deal but just something to note.
I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Santo Domingo in a nice place for a reasonable price. Close to just about everything. -

Quiet street, close to supermarket. Close to public transportation. Close enough to get access to hot spots around town within 15 minutes. I will rent again.
