In “downtown” Sanur we offer you our family-home (built 2006) for rent for both short and long stays. The location of the property is convenient (all within easy walking distance) to beach, shops, restaurants and cafes and other places in Sanur, as well as to the major roads for trips around the island.
The house is particularly (but not exclusively) suitable for families / individuals who seek privacy that certainly is not available in a hotel.

Our 6 day stay was perfect. Selaras Villa was just what we needed to chill out in after 10 hectic days of travel. The villa was extremely well equipped, clean and the staff were just lovely. The breakfast which was included was fresh and tasty and the girls preparing were friendly and unobtrusive. The pool and garden with its outdoor bure was so relaxing to come home to after playing tourist.
The location was ideal, away from the main street but within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The villa is secure and quiet and I would have no hesitation in returning. Ask for Ode if you are looking for a friendly, honest and reliable driver/guide, you won't be disappointed. -

We stayed 8 nights at Villa Selaras after leaving busy Seminyak. The whole booking process was extremely easy and information and payment were trusting. We were greeted and shown the Villa and explained how everything worked etc. We were wowed instantly. We have a 3 year old and a 6 year old and this villa was so perfect for us. The villa was cleaned daily to a very high standard by Putu and Komang. breakfast daily of omlets and pancakes were yum. We felt very secure and the staff within the Zen complex were very helpful. We ordered in one night and the secrity man on the gate escorted the delivery driver with our dinner to our villa. The complimentary WiFi was also awesome as my hisband still had to keep in touch with work.There is also a great comfy, with a ceiling fan might i add Bale gazebo which was where my husband and son spent most afteroons playing chess, my daughter fell asleep here too..The Villa is a 5 minute walk to Jl Tamblinan. The main street. We had motorbikes for the full 8 days so getting around was not a problem and being quieter than Legian and Seminyak we felt a lot more confident getting around. The laundry service on Jl Kesari was so handy. Some handy hints about Sanur...try the night markets..we ate 3 nights here without getting sick, an extremlely high turnover of food...cheap cheap cheap. We ate for $12... A great little seafood place there also...my favorite if you are staying in Sanur a fantastic modern restaurant called Kayu Manis, great reviews on trip advisor...it's a must the food cooked by Bagus the chef is 5 * . All in all we absolutely loved our stay here and cannot wait to return...thank you to the owners who have this villa so thoroughly setup, everything you need is there. The only little thing I would have to say not even a negative thing about the villa is the bed was a little hard for me...my back ached, I told Komang and she put another mattress protector down.bless her. Didn't really make that much of a difference but maybe i would suggest a topper stored for those who need it, That's my only thing. The Vila has a driver they recommend in there info guide Teja who is just lovely too, he will take you where ever you need to go he drove us to and from the airport and we had him for an afternoon also to go to Uluwatu, Pedang and Jimbaran. He patiently waited with my family at the International SOS clinic while i had an injection. Thank you for the wonderful relaxing experience that your villa offered..the photos really don't do it justice. We totally loved it!

This was our second visit to Villa Bumi ayu and once again it was wonderful. The villa is tastefully decorated and beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.
If there are better hosts than Dario and Ginny I have yet to meet them. They go out of their ways to ensure your every comfort, provide recommendations on local attractions and even invite guests to dinner with other local expats.
Ginny and Dario ensure the kitchen and panty are fully stocked prior to your arrival, there are cold bers and soft drinks waiting in the refrigerator and fresh fruit is supplied daily.

I stayed 8 days with wife and one kid. This is absolutely the accomodation one is looking for: simply excellent in everything. Very clean and confortable, literally nothing is missing, either in the kitchen (all the devices, utensiles and appliances you need are in place), in the sitting room (TV with tens of satellites preselected channels, Cd-dvd players, PC printer, fre wifi), or in the beautiful tropical garden: warm swimming pool (much appreciated by the kid), fine gazebo with fans and lights. Air conditionig and roof fans are in any room. The beach is only 15 min of walking distance. The villa is included in a quiet, enclosed complex of similar accomodations with 24hrs guard service. Daytime, there is also desk personnel. We really enjoy our holiday in Villa Selaras.
The manager and the ladies who prepare breakfast and clean all rooms every morning are very kind and helpful. -

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Selaras in May. Well-appointed and very comfortable, it has everything required for a short or longterm stay, including a fully-equipped modern kitchen, state-of-the-art air-conditioners throughout, ceiling fans, screened windows and doors, and a great saline swimming pool and charming bale (gazebo). It was the perfect place to return to at the end of the day, or better yet, with its beautiful garden, the perfect place to stay home and read, swim, and relax. It is suitable for one or two couples, or a family. There are many shops and restaurants close by, and the beach is an easy 10-minute walk.
