The location is perfect, away from noisy streets and near by the beach activities, restaurants, shops, city center etc.
The house offers a private and covered parking, once you leave your car, you can just walk to the beach and restaurants. There is a 5km footpath along the beach, beautiful stretch along Sanur coast. all sorts of activities can be done, standing paddle, kite surfing, parasailing, boating, jet skiing, fishing, including sun bathing and siping a nice fresh fruit juice while reading a book!
There is a magic place to do YOGA near the house, on the beach, called "Power of now on oasis", all level are welcome for everyday yoga, please check their web-site http://powerofnowoasis.com/ . Just walk to The Mercure hotel or Sanur beach hotel to play tennis (quick/clay) or go to the Gym at Ari fitness, you have it all around the house!
You can easily rent a car, motorbike or bicycle next to the house.
Sanur has a GOLF course, about 5kms from the house.

We spent 5 days in this villa in March 2013 together with our friends and a total of 5 kids aged 1 to 5. We were really delighted with our stay there! Firstly, Karine was extremely helpful and reactive for the booking and gave us full package of information regarding nearby restaurants and attractions, which is really nice as we did not lose time searching for information prior to our arrival. The villa itself is very nice and very well maintained. It has 3 spacious and lovely decorated bedrooms, all on the ground floor which is very convenient. We initially were a bit worried with the open swimming pool due to our young kids, but it turned out to be easy to manage as the living room is really next to the pool, so we can always have a look at it and make sure kids are not playing too close to it. The living area is spacious and perfect to chill out. The beach is really close (about 3min walk). The part which is the closest to the villa was not very clean, we were a bit disappointed by that, but you can walk another 200m to go to the hotels beaches which are well maintained (and have shaded areas too!). The walking path along the beach is nice and accessible with strollers, which was great for us. Also, we really enjoyed the simple but delicious food (mostly grilled seafood) in the nearby restaurants. Eventually, our kids fall in love with the cat which is absolutely lovely with children! We definitely strongly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in that lovely part of Bali. Aude

We stayed one week in this lovely relaxing villa home. It has big beautiful rooms, and an open lounge -living room which opens onto the deck and pool. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, outdoor shower, lovely large kitchen opening onto a barbeque patio, and a well maintained yard. The layout of the house is interesting,and the owners have done beautiful refurbishing of a classic Balinese house. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and is quiet. The housetaff are very helpful. The only drawback , which was due to the fact that we are a family with children under 2 years old, is that it was too far from the beach to walk, and the narrow lanes/streets do not lend themselves to walking with a pram/stroller. We hired a driver which the housestaff helped us arrange. This made it very easy to go out for dinner or for a day outing. The beach for us was not that important as we enjoyed the lovely pool at the villa. There are some very interesting places to eat nearby , and the owners are very helpful with suggestions. We had a lovely week, and would be happy to recommend this villa to other families.

I am a little surprised that you found the 250meters to the beach a long distance. Indeed Bali roads are not the best for the prams but it is always such a nice walk for us with our girls to the beach! Starting here, on Mertasari beach, there is a 5kilometers long walking and cycling path, ideal for the kids as perfectly safe; I hope you found this one when you went.

Staying at the Sanur Villa was one of the better parts of my amazing Bali experience. The house is spacious, beautifully furnished and very well maintained. The housekeeping staff is extremely helpful and friendly and it felt like home to me. Adding to the value is the security provided in and around the villa.
The proximity to both the beach and the market add stars to the experience as do the private swimming pool and the amenities provided.
I would recommend the villa to anybody who wishes to have a relaxed and pleasant stay in Bali.

This is a lovely villa. The furnishings and general standard of everything was excellent, and the pool is ideal. Most importantly for us though was that it is set back from the main roads and beach of Sanur and so we could avoid the noise and action when we wanted peace and quiet, but could take a short walk or cheap taxi ride when we wanted some fun.

The villa was great with three lovely bedrooms and a great living space next to the private pool. Our family had a very relaxing 6 days spent mostly in the pool. The location of the villa is at the southern end of Sanur and the beach was a little bit of a walk for our very young kids. For older kids it would be no issue. Easy to rent a car vey close by and the service was all great. Highly recommended - we'll be back.

We were here with our family with 6 children and enjoyed the staying. The contacts with the staff and the guards were very pleasant and the location, a little bit out of the rural city, was top. We liked to go to the nearby situated restaurant of Mama Putu, the shops and to the baeach. Trips became a bit irritating because of the lots of traffic on the road in the surrounding: It took too long to go to or from Sanur.

Indeed the traffic becomes a problem in Bali. We are lucky in Sanur to have now good grocery shops and nice restaurants so we don't need to go too far to fill up the fridge with delicious and fresh food products ;-)
I am glad your family enjoyed your stay. Having six children home everyday was a great challenge for the house keepers who both ask me to send you all their kind regards.
Ibu Yuyun has a special mention for your little one's, she ask me to pass the message: "her puppies have been given to good care givers".

Karine was very organised and helpful from when we initially enquired about renting her villa, to when we arrived home from our holiday. My husband, our teenage son and daughter thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful villa.It is positioned in a fantastic location - away from the hustle and bustle (if you like the huslte and bustle, you are only a short cab ride away), yet walking distance from shops, restaurants and the beach. We loved the villa, the friendly staff and its fabulous position. Staying at this villa made our family holiday, a wonderful experience. We will definitley be returning! We had a wonderful stay in Karine's house in august 2011.
My kids really enjoyed the pool, and we all liked the charming house .
The beach is really nearby, and the small restaurants there are very good and cheap.
We rent bicycles and did more than 15km along the path closed to the beach, it was stunning.
Beautiful house, very cosy with all the amenities : we spent one of our best holidays. -

We spent one week in this really nice house,everything was perfect. We loved each room of this house and we really enjoyed the swimming pool as well.

After a round trip we wanted to relax before flying back home. This was the best decision and a highlight of our Bali trip. Karine's place is just so relaxed and cozy and right by the beach. We rented some bikes down the road (after all, we're Dutch) and there is a cycle / walk path all along the beach of Sanur, connecting the local restaurants and 5 star hotels alike. My husband did some kite-surfing while I read books by the pool. Heaven.

We rented one week Karine's villa.
Everything was perfect,location close to the beach, quiet place, stunning decoration.
We were 3 couples, all very happy with the service and the atmosphere!
I recommend the house for families or couples , the value is vey good.
We walked to the beach every day, and have a cheap grilled fish at warung Kusuma restaurant ( 5 minutes walking ) !
The wind was perfect for kite surfing.

We stayed two weeks in this house during Christmas and New Year and we enjoyed every day. It is really a house for relaxation. The house is tastefully decorated with nice furniture. The very friendly staff did all the cleaning and a gardener cleaned the pool every day, so we could go swimming. The house is located in a little quiet compound with few houses and a fulltime guard. There is five minutes' walk to the beach with small restaurants, yoga center ect. It is convenient to go to the airport, which is only about 15 km away. The owner is friendly and did her best to offer us a pleasant stay. We were very satisfied.

We stayed at Karine's home with our two daughters. It was delightful, peaceful and beautiful. In a secure complex so we didn't worry about the girls at all. It is a family home so has everything you need and more. We could walk to the beach with some very local warungs selling a wide variety of food with cold beer and fresh juices at very good prices. Sanur is a great town from which to explore the rest of Bali from as it doesn't have the terrible traffic you find in Kuta & Semiyak. A great place to stay to relax and unwind, we all wish we were still there.
