Thank you for a wonderful and fantastic time at Villa Keluarga. From the moment we were picked up by Ketut at the airport we felt welcomed. As we walked through the gates into the villa and met the other Ketut and looked around, I felt all my tension leave my body and felt so excited that we were spending two weeks here!. Everything was catered for in the well stocked kitchen. We did infact cook a few dinners in the kitchen (using the rice cooker and lots of implements) and we cooked breakfast each morning. I recommend going down to Hardys supermarket for eggs, bread etc...so cheap for eggs - about 75c for a dozen and the same for a punnet of mushrooms! The lounge was comfy and relaxing, the bedrooms wonderful, clean, modern and comfy and the best part, yes the pool. We spent a lot of time swimming, relaxing and chilling out by the pool. It was wonderful. Ketut kept the villa spotless, and we had fresh towels daily. We went out at night to a few wonderful restaurants - we recommend Gardenia Cafe - the food was out of this world and if you do go you must try the Black Rice desert, it is amazing! It was so good there that we went back 4 times LOL. We also liked El Comodor, Three Monkeys and the Irish pub in Sanur. Flapjacks is great for pancakes and if you really need to watch the footy (not me). Also, you must visit Waterbom. My daughter and I went three times :-). But the back to the Villa, coming come each time after a day out or night out, was truly like coming home. The most comfortable relaxing holiday I have ever had. I love this place! We were so very very sorry to leave and we will definitely be back! Thank you again and again!

Thanks Margaret for the use of your villa ,from the moment of first contact to departure everything was done in a professional manner. The villa is everything any one would want as a holiday home .photos are spot on,swam in pool daily water temp beautiful. Location a good 10 minute walk to main shopping and eating area or a short 1 dollar taxi ride, did both no problem either way. All other reviews spot on. We would definitely stay again and recommend this villa to all our friends. Both ketuks are great to deal with. Ketuk house cleaner a pleasure to have around nothing any problem for him, again thank you for a wonderful stay . Sebastian and issy

On our Bali last visit, one of many, we spent a week at Villa Keluarga in Sanur. And it was a delight. Although we booked before our daughter booked, she stayed at the Villa first and gave us a glowing report.
The Villa is well maintained, clean, comfortable, spacious and beautifully resourced. Our housekeeper Ketut was reliable and unobtrusive each day, and although he was available to shop for us we chose to go out often and shop for ourselves as part of our holiday fun. The kitchen facilities are extensive and modern and for those who prefer to eat in the Villa is like home comfort.
The gates are secure and the pool clean and inviting. The bale was lovely to relax in with a book and a Bintang and if you wanted to use your Wi-Fi the Villa has its own connection. We wanted for nothing.
Most residents will want to stroll to the beach or down to the main stretch for coffees and dinners and bit of R & R shopping, but we chose to grab a cab outside the Villa and drive (some people might think we are a bit aged and frail for walking, but that’s the way we are). The maximum fare for the longest cab ride was about Rp15,000 (say $A2).
We booked through the owners in Perth, by email and then by phone, and we knew that if we had any problem with the Villa, and we did not have one, it was easy to call them and we know they would have solved it immediately.
If you want a great place to stay in Sanur you will find Villa Keluarga will meet all your tests.Response from Margaret Styles - 11/19/2012

What a place, no need for us to add any photographs as it is exactly like the one's the owner has added. From the time we were met at the airport until the time we were dropped off for our flight back to Perth, it was a relaxing, enjoyable stay...your home in Bali.
Ketut, the driver, provided local knowledge and transport for us, while Ketut the house keeper was a joy to meet and talk to...nothing was ever a problem for either of these lovely people.
Being only a 10 minute walk from the villa to the beach and it's great cafe's was a reason to get out and about on a morning, with the cooling and relaxing pool as the reward for walking the whole coastal path!
Great location,kitchen, bbq is a brilliant idea and was utilised on a few occasions, but the sheer relaxing atmosphere and privacy has meant we will not be using the large 5 star hotels again...this is the way of the future.
With the villa being up the road away from the main action, it is amazing what you find when you look...(never thought we'd watch the Bledisloe Cup in a dive club with Kiwis) but don't tell everyone or they will all want to come!

The villa was perfect for our first time visit to Bali, Travelling with 3 boys under 10. They were very accommodating in allowing my boys sleep in the one room, even providing a small gift pack for each on their beds.
The premises is nice, clean and secure, tucked away so that I could allow the kids to be kids at the end of busy days without worrying about them affecting other guests. The kids loved the pool and the toys provided.
Special mention needs to go to the driver Ketut who patiently took us everywhere, was very fair with price, was easy to talk to and answered the boys many questions about Bali.Response from Margaret Styles - 07/18/2012

We were a party of two couples when we booked this villa for Feb 2012. The accommodation is first class, comfortable and private, being tucked down an alley of the main drag of Sanur - south end. An easy 10 min walk to the beach, restaurants and shops or grab a taxi/beamo out the front. The pool area is perfect, quiet and all yours! This villa is highly recommended if you want to be away from the "bling" area of Bali. Not for partying, for those who want peace, quiet and relaxation.
