Inserted in the forest in a 2acres plot this property is in the center of the village of Furnas. It is a private property with excellent sights, natural gardens, a lake and a cave. It is advisable to rent a car to move around since you have the facility to park inside the property.
At about 5 minutes walk between the street and the house you will find supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and all services that the village of Furnas has to offer. It is also 7km from the beach (about 10 min drive) and 3 km from Lagoa das Furnas.

I am used to rent places on airbnb or similar sites, and this place is the greatest I've ever found. We were looking for a quiet place to rest, and we found the perfect one : a house in the forest, very cosy, ultra quiet, with a lovely huge private garden. Estevao and Helena, the owners, are very pleasant guests, we met them at our arrival for global explanations about the area and the house. Furnas, the village where the house is, is a lovely place where you can enjoy natural hot water pools, geysers, and from them you can drive easily everywhere on the island. Well, this is the place to be in the azores, no doubt about it, and we are already sure to go back there next year. Highly highly recommended.
