We stayed in the summer of '12 and shared this cabin with another family. There was more than enough room, and the lake/dock was perfect for the kids to get up and go fishing each morning. I highly recommend Whisper Lake!

we really liked this house. the rental agency was easy to work with. The rental rate was fair. The house was clean and in good shape, well equipped (quality kitchen gear - owners must like to cook) and comfortable. We enjoyed the canoe and private lake and spent a lot of time on the decks. Wifi connection was strong. Only negatives were small parking area and # steps from there down to house. A little hard to find way in and out the first few times, but that meant no traffic by house and little construction noise.

My family which included a son in law had a wonderful time. The home was expansive and allowed for privacy for all family members. It was in a quiet section of Whisper Lake on the lake. Located in Sapphire Valley allowed the use of the amenities and was a central location to the an asset to many of the things that this part of North Carolina offers.
