The house was gorgeous! Everything we could possibly need and want was right at our fingertips, from the view of the Master bedroom, to the warmth of the fireplace. Everything was at driving distance and was so much fun, we all had a blast!!

Left on 02/26/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We were at a remote family cabin an hour away for xmas and wanted to be in Saranac for New Years. The house was well appointed, warm and comfortable. Views over the town and lake in winter are stunning, Grandma watched the fireworks from the living room.
We really enjoyed our stay and would rent here again! -

We were up for Winter Carnival weekend and wanted a place that was close to town, clean, comfortable and the right price, this place met all those needs! The owner was also great to work with, which made the trip that much easier.

Delmar, New Yorkterrific: setting, location, amenities, house, landord
Left on 01/19/2012 for a stay in August 2010
A spacious, wonderfully decorated, and immaculte house right in the heart of Saranac Lake, just 15 minutes from
Lake Placid and 20 minutes from great hiking and paddling. Have been renting this house for seven years and would not consider another house or location. Landlord goes to any length to make improvements and see to tenants needs. -

This is a lovely house in the village of Saranac Lake, close to restaurants and shops. The house has been renovated and has an updated kitchen and entertainment center. It is an ideal location as a base for canoeing or kayaking and hiking in the area. We have stayed at more remote houses, but prefer this one because it is in town. It is also very quiet (except for when the train whistle is blowing). Staying in Saranac Lake is much less expensive than Lake Placid which is only 10 miles away.

Grand Isle, VTA very pleasant and comfortable retreat
Left on 08/15/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This was a very sweet and comfortable little home away from home. It had all the necessary ammenities, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of fluffy towels, large TV and very helpful neighbors. There was plenty to see and do in town and the surrounding areas. All-in-all it was as good as I expected it too be, and in some cases even better.
Thank you. -

New Hope, PennsylvaniaSaranac Lake Hilltop House
Left on 02/27/2011 for a stay in February 2011
Friends and I have stayed at this house three years in a row during both the winter and fall. It's the perfect place to come back to after an active day exploring the adirondacks. We love the setting overlooking the town and the cozy ambiance of the house. The kitchen is well equipped. The dining room comfortably seats six. The living room has a great wide screen flat TV for watching movies or sporting events. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms which is perfect for a large family, three couples or friends enjoying a mountain getaway. We especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. There is so much to do in the adirondacks in all seasons and since the house is located right in town we often left the car at home and walked to fine restaurants, shops and lively nights spots. The beautiful city of Lake Placid is just a short drive away. My friends and I certainly look forward to a return trip!

Lincoln, NEAwesome!

This is a wonderful house that allows pets and is close to everything in the village of Saranac Lake. As someone who used to live in the area, we were so pleased to find a rental that allows pets! We generally share the house with 2 other friends that used to live in SL and we come back during the holidays to visit our friends who still live here.
