Plymouth, MIGreat time at House of the Sun
Left on 05/29/2013 for a stay in May 2012
Switched to 512 GV ( gulf front ) unit, fantastic ! Totally tiled , great at the beach, who wants dirty carpet. Great location easy, access to beach, great assigned parking. Only place with two sun decks on the top front of the building, so no matter what unit, you can chill out on the rooftop decks to watch the sunsets
Would recommend the House of the Sun to everyone. You can save money
and rent a gulf view or gulf side, since you are at the beach all day, and you have the rooftop decks to relax in the evening. Don't really need the more expensive gulf front units.

Left on 05/29/2013 for a stay in May 2013
This was our first trip to Siesta Keys and after reviewing numerous condo's and hotels we decided to stay at the House of Sun. The condo was exactly as described, clean and very comfortable furniture. The beach was awesome. The location of House of Sun is very convenient to restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at the House Of The Sun for years and always love it. Very spacious and updated condo. Extremely clean and staff is superb! I liked receiving the email confirmations and reminder notices. I also liked the convenience of the beach lounge chairs and having them untethered. One recommendation would be is having a cooler for the beach, either rent from the office or offer as an amenity. Would highly recommend and the location is great.

Staff, and service people very friendly, and help full. Units are very clean, and upgraded nicely. Location is excellent, with markets, restaurants, bars, shopping drugstore, and just about everything you would need, within walking distance. Friendly maintenance staff keep pool, and all areas very clean, everything is very tidy.

We continue to return to House of the Sun because it is un-surpassed. The beach is the best and we have traveled to Hawaii/Cayman Islands/Mexico/and more. The condos are meticulously maintain, the staff outstanding. Everyone there is so friendly. I would suggest if you have errands to run, get them done early, because while you have the best location on the beach, others do travel into the island to be able to enjoy what is right outside your door.

Left on 07/22/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We rented this property for our summer vacation. Great location, it is right on the beach and not far from all the fun and excitement. Property itself is well maintained, nice decor throughout. Loved the new kitchen appliances. We will come back to this place again. Staff was very nice and friendly. Had no problems!!! Got out safety deposit back in couple weeks after the stay. The best thing about this place is location.

Port Huron, MiLove this condo!!
Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012
This was our first stay at House of the Sun, and we will definitely be back! The location right on the beach can't be beat. Security was good, and we were impressed that guests were able to use a wide array of floats, beach chairs and umbrellas, books, etc. We stayed in unit 210, which was beautiful, immaculately clean, and very comfortable! We especially liked the open air balcony patio that allowed us to sit outside, as not all condos in Siesta Key offer this for every unit. In addition, there are very large decks on the 4th and 5th floors that are open to all guests and offer a great view of the sunset over the gulf. We took a bottle of wine and a cheese plate up and really enjoyed it! We would recommend unit 210 and House of the Sun to anyone looking to have a great time at a great location on beautiful Siesta Key!

We are repeat guests x 20+ years and have always found staff friendly, courteous and efficient. Hos is clean, well maintained and has a beach that boasts "America's best". It is located in a very desirable part of Florida with easy access to theatre, sports, fishing and dining. We look forward to many more vacations with our friends from the UK and N. America.

Left on 11/25/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We did not know what to expect with planning our vacation on-line but it surpassed our expectations. The condo was beautiful, the beach front was gorgeous and we truly enjoyed a much needed rest. We were a short distance from Siesta village which our friends were happy about since they had stayed there before. We can't wait to come back and bring our family to share the experience.

Pittsburgh, PASpectacular House of the Sun
Left on 05/25/2011 for a stay in May 2011
My wife and I had been to a family destination wedding in Siesta Key a few years back. We stayed in the Village and had a great time. Unfortunatley, the place we stayed was a dump and when we decided to go back to Siesta Key (and to leave the four kids back home) she let me put the whole package together. I don't remember how I came upon the House of the Sun, I was hesitant because it was not in the Village and I didn't know anything else about any other area. I looked at the location on Google Earth and decided to give it a shot. What an unbelievably pleasant surprise. The condo complex is directly on the beach, There are lounge chairs available for tenants and if you don't have something you need they will do their best to help find it.Our unit was everything, and more, than expected. We had a view of the Gulf, easy access in and out (very secure w/parking). My wife forgot her hairdryer and the front desk gave her a new one to use. It's directly across the street from places to eat, drink and be merry. It's about 3 minutes from larger stores or restaurants. We never went out to eat because we'd grab something to eat from the condo and go up to the roof top deck and watch the sunsets every night with other vacationers and Bob, who would blow his airhorn every night as the sun set. I cannot recommend this unit or Crescent Beach enough.

Left on 05/04/2010 for a stay in April 2010
We had a great time at House of the Sun, the staff were great, the pool and beach were very clean. The condo was just a few steps to the beach and the views from the condo were great. Our condo had toys for the kids, tennis raquets, chairs and the kitchen had everything I needed. I would book my trip there again.

The room was spotless. Everything in good order. The beds were comfortable. The artwork on the walls was very nice. We hope to stay at the same unit next year.

Cedar Rapids, IANice, but unit inconvenient and too expensive (comparatively).
Left on 09/25/2009 for a stay in February 2009
The service was nothing special at all. The unit itself was very nice but really inconvient when you're in and out as much as we are. Mostly, the only real issue is discovering (after the fact) that there are other really nice plcaes to stay on Siesta Key that are alot less expensive. We will not be going back because of their rates.

A pleasant, well decorated and well equipped unit. The shower in the master bedroom bathroom was the only bad point that we could pick out - the water pressure was rather on the limp side(!). We would certainly book the same unit again.

we've been going to house of the sun for almost 34 yrs. & except when they change mgnt. a few yrs. ago (i don't remember when) we have always had a very nice stay. we recommend it high. eventhough is one of the oldest condo. bldg. in siesta key, the remodeling they have gone thru makes it along w/the prices even better.
