This Gulf View unit has newly installed beige carpet throughout the common areas and a renovated master bathroom. This unit sleeps 6 by offering a King and 2 Twin size beds, and a sofa sleeper. Enjoy TV's and VCR's in the living room and master bedroom, DVD and CD player in the living room, wireless internet, and a dinette that seats 4. At the end of a great day on the beach, sit on your balcony and take in the beautiful view.

As a return guest year after year at the House of the Sun we have had the opportunity to compare units; by far this unit needs the most updating that we have seen. We were not happy with the carpet being so dirty when we had infants and toddlers with us that were continually crawling around the floor. The pictures and accessories have faded that no color exists on them but the sundrenched blue. Love the accommodating/friendly staff and the cleanliness at the facility itself and will continue to vacation there, will just try a different unit next time.

Our accommodations were everything we hoped they would be. Delivering our golf clubs to our room was much appreciated. We like the location of House of the Sun with nearby walking destinations. The view of the beach was great. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This was our second year in a row to come to Siesta Key and stay at the House of the Sun for Thanksgiving week. We will definitely be returning next year. The location is perfect. It's located on the private beach and away from the busy and noisy town area of Siesta Key. When we did want to go to town, it was a twcouple of minute drive, or a pleasent bicycle ride. You can rent a bicycle right across the street for only $10 for 24 hours.
House of the Sun was great about accommodating our late night arrival. The security deposit was return promptly. -

As always, the House of Sun provided us with great service, an exceptional view, and perfect location. We have been coming to House of Sun for many years, and continue to plan on coming every year! Unit #312 is by far our favorite room at House of Sun. There are only two downfalls, no hot tub and the guest bathroom. It is very hard to get in and out of the tub in the guest bathroom. The bathtub walls are high and there are glass doors. We have always wished for a hot tub at House of Sun. We would love to finish out the day enjoying the sunset from a hot tub.

We have stayed at this condo for at least 3 years and it has not been kept up to par. Has squeaky beds in guest bedroom, missing kitchen utensils, carpet needs cleaned or replaced, needs new tv in large bedroom, etc. etc. We love House of the Sun but have requested a more up-to-date condo for next year. On positive side ...it does have a pretty good view!

We had a wonderful time. The condo was delightful and had everything we needed. My only suggestion: it's time to replace the shower heads in both bathrooms, especially the smaller bathroom.

My family had the most enjoyable and relaxing time on our vacation. Accomodations were great. Everything you needed was close by and most within walking distance. Loved the beautiful beach and the well kept premises.

everything we wanted. The unit itself was fully
stocked and met our every need. We viewed the ocean
from our balcony and LR window and it was truly
breathtaking;it made our Florida visit the best one

We have been vacationing at the HofS for over 15 years. We always enjoy our stay and, of course, the beach.
I so appreciate all the owners making upgrades to their rooms. It really makes a difference when you walk into a room that has and updated kitchen, bathrooms, and furnishings. This is NOT true of room 312GV. We were very disappointed in the kitchen, it was ill equipped and had outdated appliances (coil stove top with uneven surfaces). At times I felt like I was camping. The furnishings are old and there's way too much glass in this room. The last thing I want to do on my vacation is Windex all the glass tables and put away all the little nick nacks that were every where.
We stay at the HofS because we want to not only enjoy the beach but also create a home-away-from-home in our rented unit. We enjoy just hanging out in our room, watching TV and cooking meals. 312GV was not conducive to any of these activities. I won't rent this unit again until the owners see fit to update the accommodations.
I was very pleased with the grounds. Your maintenance team does a great job every day keeping things looking very nice and clean. This is something we have come to expect from the HofS.

While our stay was all to brief, the quality of the ammenities ofer were excellent. The unit was clean, in good repair. The kitchen was well equipped. What dealing we had with the front desk were very helpful and pleassnt.
We have recommended House of the Sun to all our friends.
The next time we aare in the Sarasota area we will be staying at the House of the Sun
