This was the second time back, and we loved it even more.
Everything is in walking distance and Jeff the manager always ready to
help with anything you need. When I came home I realized I left my bathing suit in the dryer, I called and Jason the other manager within a few hours called me back and found it. I couldnt believe it. It was in the mail the next day.

Very nice large two bedroom unit on beautiful beach. Good value for the money compared to other offerings on Siesta. Pictures pretty much tell it all. Very quiet building. Never heard anyone above, below or on either side. Unlike most buildings in Siesta Key you can rent this by the day, no weekly monthly stays required. Nice little tiki bar bike rental and grocery across the street. Only downside is pool area is a little small for the size of the building.

We have been coming to the "house of the sun" for 32 years and have always had a great experience. This is the 4th time we have stayed in unit 406 and will choose it again next time...very comfortable.
The staff at hos is very friendly and accommodating as well. -

This was are first time in Siesta Key, so I got on line and did my homework. The virtual tour of the room was everything it said. I was able to choose the price range and the room location very easily. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable for the three of us. The view from the patio was exactly as the photos, I was able to get my ocean view. I loved everything about the place, the service, we were across the street from everything, which was very convenient since we didn't rent a car the first few days. We loved watching the sunsets on the beautiful beach or on the sun deck. Our vacation was everything and more then I could imagine, thank you hos we will be back soon...

We visited House of the Sun in Dec-Jan. for a week and we had a fantastic time. My husbnad, and two boys, 18 and 12 years. We loved the "walk to beach", pool and tennis court facilities...including the community, apartment was very presentable and well equipped. of course, for at a reasonable rate!

This condo is located right on the beach and gives an adequate side view of the beach. The unit was clean, tastefully appointed and comfortable and safe. The pictures of this unit is exactly what it is. No Surprises. Very well maintained and managed building. There are many restaurants near by such as Carraba's, Olive Garden and similar. The beach is perfect!! Gentle surf, gradual descent in to the warm water. Great for kids. Very close to Sarasota and close enough to Tampa/St. Pete area, home of the NFL Buccaneers and baseball's Rays. Why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can spread out - just like home?? Go for it!!

Great location, great beach. The condo we stayed in was very clean, comfortable and great TV and I-pod stereo hookup (my 16 yr old son loved it). My only complaint is the lack of beach chairs and the "saving" of chairs simply by putting a towel on them at 7 am only to show up at 11. Not sure how to enforce this? Maybe a sign in the elevator or packet we receive? "No reserving chairs" or "Any chair left unattended for more than 60 minutes will be forfeited"

Wonderful Condo! Well equipped...only thing missing was a hairdryer. Enjoyed the flat screen Tv's, surround sound, comfortable furniture and loved the recently renovated kitchen. The free long distance to Canada was also a big hit for me. This is my 2nd year staying a House of the Sun consecutively and would not hesitate to stay their again. Last year we had a gulf front view which was obviously much nicer but the view from this condo was fine. Condo unit #406 was actually an awesome unit! We loved it!

Haven't missed a year here since my first trip seven years ago. House of the Sun has always had wonderful accommodations. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The beach as always is beautiful. I'll be back next year staying at House of the Sun...again!!!

Last time we stayed here was 15 years ago and it is even better. Condo recently spent a million to upgrade and our unit was beautifully upgraded. We talked to many people staying, both owners and renters. It is a great location, walk to grocery and restaurants, and right on the beach. It's great for families and well as couples.
