Rented a unit on the south side for morning sun, but found the noise from, I assume, generators and air conditioning units nearby very loud. Also sound proofing is poor and we could easily follow the movements of the guests above us from their foot fall. We booked 15 nights, but wished to have 2 additional nights then a 2 night gap before the 15 night rental. This was impossible and the office could only repeat again and again that the minimum stay was 3 nights . Tried to explain that the unit booked for 15 nights was unoccupied and we would not require a cleaning service prior to our longer stay. But no; the inflexible office would rather watch 2 nights rental income walk out the door than, in these circumstances, accommodate a reasonable request. We found a delightful place nearby that waived their 3 night minimum rule and that is where we will stay in the future.
There were also some very loud fellow guests who at times dominated the pool area without restraint .
Have stayed at House of the Sun many times over the last 25 years and things have changed.
The unit we rented [407] was very comfortable and had been recently upgraded. The location on the beach is splendid with plenty of loungers ,nice gardens and pool area. The covered parking in hot weather is another plus. -

From check in through the entire week, we appreciated the friendliness and warm welcome at House of the Sun!
unit 407 is the best unit we have ever had! We felt so at home and the decor and amenities were a plus!
We liked the fourth floor...much less hectic than lower floors... and that is what we liked the least too because walking up four flights each day was a "workout"!
No truly...it could not have been a better week.

Enjoyed all of our stay! Room renovation was fantastic, everything was great. If I had to give any suggestion it would be to speed up the elevators! Look forward to coming back!

Unit 407 was wonderful. Recently remodeled and spacious, it was just perfect for our week in Florida. The beach is nice and easily accessible. The pool area is only average (small), but I don't use the pool much when I am at the beach.
