The view was amazing except for the fact that the windows were very dirty. All the accomodations were great except for the squeaky bed, next to the closet, in the guest bedroom. Lastly, the pool was very dirty and gross :(

Great location on the beach with sunset a must.
Accommodation good, comfortable and clean with nice views although the air conditioning units from the adjoining building were a bit noisy, especially at night.
Our visit coincided with the Easter vacation period and we were disturbed a few times by children running in the corridors in the late evening and also in the condos above us. Regular visitors to the condos said that it was usually quieter outside of the school vaction times.
Condos were full with extended families and this made for an early start if you wanted to have a bed on the beach and it was a bit noisy in the evening when they groups had a BBQ!
Building had some realistic rules but none were enforced e.g. don't reserve beach chairs; don't remove chairs from the pool area; guests must wash beach footwear and beach equipment before entering the building etc.
Many non-residents were using the facilites (either locals who had access to the security code or members of the extended families staying in the condos)
Service from the management and maintenance staff was excellent and there were several good restaurants in walking distance plus a grocery store, pharmacy, gift shop and 711.
Great location for visiting local attractions - Explorers ecological boat tour and Motes aquarium a must! Plenty of Malls nearby for the shopper! -

Toronto, CanadaTotally awesome!!!

The only thing that was a little strange was we arrived on a Sunday and the door was locked to the office! I was a little shocked because nobody explained the 'protocal' on how to check in on a Sunday. Not a big deal but just thought you should know..maybe just give people the heads up that on Sunday the office is closed..
The 'girl' at the desk during the week we were there was great. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Sorry..I don't know her name..
It was our first visit to Siesta Key and to the House of Sun. I researched many other properties to stay at and I am very happy we choose yours. We will definately be back..we will for sure come back if you give us a little discount in the high season!!
Take Care,
Leslie airth -

Loved the location, loved the condo, loved the security of this condo. We've been visiting SK for over 6 years, sometimes twice a year - and this is our fave place to stay! #411 is perfect for checking out Point of Rocks (we fish), proximity to elevator/trash chute and the wonderful large balcony is just down the hall. Friendly people and staff - we loved it! Only diff thing we would do is look for better guestroom as we had another couple (needed bigger bed in guestroom instead of twins).

The condo was clean, but there was a bothersome odor in it. Worse when heat/AC was used but present all of the time. Also, furniture could use to be updated.

Dayton, OhioHouse of the Sun vacation
Left on 10/28/2009 for a stay in October 2009
I stayed at the House of the Sun in the spring of 1981 with my parents and had a wonderful week. I returned to the House of the Sun 29 years later with my wife because of my original experience and the facility still looked as beatiful as always.
The owners of unit 411GV had a welcome card and box of chacolate waiting for us which was very classy.
The unit, facilty, and beach access were all excellent and Victoria was very helpful on some local resturant recommendations.
The great facility location allowed us to walk to area dining and grocery sites and eliminate the car rental for total relaxation.
Thank you for your hospitality.
