This beautiful unit was renovated in September 2010. There is porcelain tile in the common areas, living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway. All countertops are done in granite. Both showers are tiled to the ceiling, have corner shelves, and have frameless doors with grab bars. The master shower also has a shower seat. Both bedrooms are carpeted. The living room has a leather sofa, loveseat and recliner where there is a view to the beautiful beach and the gulf . We spent a very nice week in Siesta Key. This condo is the most beautiful one we ever rented. We appreciated the tennis court directly on the beach.

Everything about 501 was really great - the amenities in the kitchen, the clean couches and tables, the comfortable beds. If I had to say the one thing we needed, it would be beach towels. If I had to say the one thing we wanted, it would be an outdoor grille.
Although the unit is farther from the pool and Gulf, the view is still great and the outdoor furniture is really comfortable.

Overall we had a great stay. The 20% off savings is what hooked me on choosing the House of the Sun over some of the others on the strip. The facility was clean and the grounds were nice, not great, but nice. A few more colorful plants and the grounds could be great. One of the best things about the House of the Sun is that it has almost everything that the bigger Condos have but without the Crowd, it is a very peaceful place to stay. Getting into your parking place is difficult if you have a large car, but doable. I would add Gas Grills instead of just the charcoal grills and the unit I stayed in needs curtains along with the blinds to keep out the early morning sun. I would come back to the House of the Sun and stay in the same unit if they added curtains to the master bedroom.

Great location, no stuffiness. Awesome views from the communal patio deck or the sunset (and the beach)

My wife, a cousin and I had a great stay. The facility was outstanding, staff went out of their way to help and answer questions. I have told many family members ans friends about our stay. If space is available will be back the next time we are in your area.

What a well kept complex....the condo was outstanding!! Clean and all the amenities of home!! Our favorite was the crock pot! Put it on in the A.M and when we came in from the beach dinner was ready!!
