Located directly across the street from Siesta Key Beach Access 7 and only two blocks to town, this adorable beach cottage has been newly furnished island style and outfitted with new, fresh linens for your comfort.

The Living Room has a queen sleep sofa, TV with DVD player, and stereo with CD player with IPOD hook up, too.

The bedroom has a queen size sleigh bed and a TV with DVD player.

There is an private outdoor patio, equipped with table and chairs with umbrella, a brand new gas grill, and 2 chaise lounges for relaxing.

The b...est feature is the location, directly across the street from the beach, and only 2 blocks to town and all it has to offer--Siesta Key Oyster Bar (SKOB), Daiquiri Deck, and of course, the Broken Egg.

Step back in time to the days when life was easy and laid back and flip flops and cut offs were all you needed. Siesta Key's Siesta Shores is a small pink cottage beach community, one of only a handful left in this idyllic island.
Siesta Key is one hour South of Tampa and one hour North of Sanibel Island. Rated one of the top 10 beaches in the world and #1 in the country by Dr. Beach for 2011, there's plenty to do in this laid back dommunity--boating and beaching it are the two favorites. But, if you like to shop, there's upscale shopping only 10 minutes away in St. Armands Circle. While there, don't miss Columbia Restaurant for the best food in town. Their 1905 salad is a favorite and they make some of the best mojitos and sangria around! Nightlife and cultural life are extraordinary in Sarasota. The town center is also only 10 minutes away and is well worth the trip for fine dining, antiquing, shopping, museums, etc.
In Siesta Key Village, you will find SKOB and the Broken Egg--two Key favorites. Locals and visitors alike flock to the Oyster Bay for some of the best music in town. The oysters are fabulous and so is Gabe the bartender! And, if you crave something different for reakfast, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the Broken Egg. Get their Broken Egg Sundae for a healthy breakfast of yogurt, granola, and fruit. Their pancakes are the size of the plate they serve them on and you can be as creative as your imagination allows in having yours prepared especially for you! A newer restaurant is the Blue Smoke Grill which has some of the best barbecue ribs and chicken anywhere! And don't forget to try their award winning Mac-n-Cheese! After a day on the beach, there's no better place to spend the evening than in town. Most restaurants have outdoor seating and live music ranging from blues to reggar to acoustical guitar. So whether you are looking for an island-style vacation on the Key or an elegant night on the town, you'll find it all here!
The cottage is across the street from Beach Access 7 and two blocks to town--an easy walk. You will not need a car as you can take a taxi from Sarasota airport, but we do have parking if you choose to bring one. There is a private outdoor space too, with a fenced in patio with chaise lounges and a table and chairs for al fresco dining. We've decorated it Tommy Bahama style for comfort and relaxation. You will love our little "love shack!"

  I absolutely loved staying in this clean and cozy cottage. It has the perfect location for Siesta Key, across the street from the beach and just a few blocks from great night life. It is decorated beautifully in a laid back beach theme and is perfect for a great retreat.

  My stay at the Siesta Key Beach Cottage was a wonderful experience for me. All the privacy I could have but most of all the convenience of the great amenities. There wasn't anything that I didn't need. Diane, thank you so much for sharing your cottage and making it an enjoyable vacation. I also want to say that it was so nice to just walk across the street to the beach and at night enjoy a walk through the village for something to eat or just to listen to some music. Beautifully decorated cottage and very homey.
