A restored 18thC manor house with stylish, beautifully furnished bedrooms with private ensuite bathrooms; café/kitchen for guest use; guest lounge; terraces; BBQ and picnic facilities; 3 acres of park like gardens; wifi; and on-site parking. Ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, groups of friends looking for a special venue or family reunions.

Manoir Petit Meysset has an enviable position - set in large grounds but only 1km from the town centre and medieval city. Facilities are nearby with shops and the major supermarket just 150 metres away....

The Property/Facilities

Each of the 5 spacious guest suites has been individually decorated and delightfully furnished with guest comfort and privacy in mind. Each has their own stylish ensuite bathroom, sitting area, desk, television, bathrobes, hairdryer, internet access, and complimentary carafe of local wine. All have heating for the winter months or odd chilly evening.

The spacious house and grounds of this charming old property provide a haven of peace and tranquility after a busy day exploring Sarlat or visiting the countless nearby attractions. There are numerous sitting areas on the terraces or in the gardens to read a book, plan the next day's outings, sunbathe, sip a coffee or cold drink, or simply lay back and relax in the shade of a majestic old tree. Indoors, the chic guest lounge provides a warm and welcoming environment.

A delicious breakfast is served each day using fresh local produce and there are many nearby restaurants for lunch or dinner. For guests who prefer to 'eat-in', there is a large gas BBQ and the café/kitchen is equipped with glasses, crockery and cutlery plus fridge, microwave oven, hot plate and dishwasher so you can prepare your own picnic or light meal. The Perigord Noir is famous for its food and wines, so shopping at the local markets and shops can be a memorable and pleasurable part or your holiday.

"Terrace Suite"

A handsome room of grand proportions opening onto the front terrace and gardens.

King size bed. Sleeps 2 with provision for a 3rd person (or 2 children) if required.

Sitting area with large sofa and big armchair. Small dining setting.

Ensuite with walk-in shower and travertine floors.

"Voltaire"

A huge bright room with high ceilings and windows on 2 sides.

King size or 2 single beds. Sleeps 2 with provision for child's bed if required.

Sitting area with large sofa, table and chairs.

Ensuite with full size bath and marble floor. Shower over bath but with limited headroom of 190cms.

Tariff: from 74 Euro per night room rate (for up to 2 people).

"Sartre"

A large family suite taking up the whole top floor sleeping 2 to 4 persons. Naturally divided by the old attic beams into 3 sections:

* Sleeping area with king size or 2 single beds

* Living area with chaise, armchairs, small dining setting and desk

*Additional sleeping area with single bed.

The ensuite is in the eaves with walk-in shower and rustic Italian mosaic tiled floor.

Charming 2 room suite with sitting room and separate bedroom (king size or 2 single beds). Access to the back guest terrace and gardens. Sleeps 2 to 3 persons.

"Emile Zola"

Elegant and intimate double room with entry hall and access to back terrace and gardens.

  A space is created by a person, and in this case the owner of this home has such warmth, taste,sense of style and attention to detail, that you can just be happy that you had a chance to share in what she has created.The property itself is a lovely old house, which has been beautifully renovated, and sits in its own expansive grounds.It has just a few rooms ,but each is welcoming, spacious and one feels right at home.If you chose to travel to this part of the world, you are the type of person who will love this place.We did !

  A magic week in the south of France.

  We stayed here with 3 other couples who were friends, and we all loved it. It was such a lovely surprise to find comfortable beds, large rooms, superbly appointed modern bathrooms within a tastefully furnished substantial stone cottage. The daily breakfast experience is not to be missed. Owners Sue & Tony have only recently completed a first class restoration job on this property. There are 3 acres of gardens and it is a nice walk down to the medieval village where there are plentiful restaurants, cafes and shopping. The surrounding area is rich with chateaus, castles and beautiful gardens.
  We cannot speak highly enough of this B&B; - it is simply stunning!

  Il piccolo castello di Madame Suzette ci ha accolto in tutto il suo splendore. La camera Sartre molto spaziosa per 4 persone e arredata con ottimo gusto come tutto il resto della casa, accurato in ogni minimo dettaglio, dalla table per la colazione alla cucina a disposizione degli ospiti. Il parco che circonda la casa e' meraviglioso. Pulizia impeccabile. Accoglienza cordiale e senza inutili formalismi, ci si sente a casa propria
  (magari...!!!). La simpatia di Suzette e Marina ha reso ancora piu' piacevole il nostro soggiorno. Colazione ricca in servizio raffinato.
  Buona posizione rispetto al centro di Sarlat, raggiungibile anche a piedi con breve passeggiata.

  esperienza fantastica!
  Madame Suzette ovvero the boss of the petit manoir meysset è stata meravigliosa...Ma la sua non è proprio un origine francese bensì australiana!
  colazione compresa e direi esagerata!croissant,pain ou chocolat,baguette affettati succhi cereali...Camera voltaire (la via di mezzo) grande quanto casa nostra!cuscinoni letto queen size bagno con vasca ed un arredamento splendido. In più la signora Marina che parla un pò di italienne simpaticissima e disponibilissima come la signora Suzette.
  Ci sono anche due compagni in casa ovvero Louis e Plutò!due cani di taglia medio grande ma non solo affettuosi..di più..e un gatto di 17 anni che difficilmente si fa vedere...
  il tutto in un contesto fantastico...proprietà grandissima di recente ristrutturazione (una parte che però non è adibita ad abitazione, deve ancora essere sistemata).
  L'unica cosa è raggiungerlo!non usate le indicazioni GPS!!!noi ci siamo ritrovati di fronte ad un hotel che aveva il nome simile ma non era lui!dovete seguire per Perigeaux ed ad un certo punto dopo Sarlat c'è una via sulla sx con un muro di cinta scuro da seguire...ma fate affidamento alle indicazioni della signora.E' bravissima!
