Villa Poderuccio is a beautiful 16th Century villa ideal for a vacation abroad in Tuscany. This stunning villa boasts a unique blend of antique rustic architecture and contemporary design as well as private swimming pool surrounded by unspoilt countryside.

External Description:

The Estate, dating from the XV-XVI centuries, was restored in 1998 and is situated on an park of over 800 hectares between the Monte Cetone and Val D'Orcia National Park. At the center of the Estate is a thousand year-old Abbey. Surrounded by green hills, cultivated fields, trees and a small lake, it is possible to discover the various characteristics of th...e Estate.

Internal Description:

Independent house, 19th/20th century, restored in 2000.

A gorgeous quiet farmhouse deeply plunged in the unique atmosphere of the Val d'Orcia. It is situated in a bucolic context of pastures and forests. A little private road adds a romantic touch to the house and suggests walks to near woods. The swimming pool is very well situated in the garden and in the spectacular nature, which allows absolute relaxation.

The house furnishings and interiors are refined and sophisticated, yet ideal and coherent with the country environment.

The ground floor is a superb and comfortable area which consists of a sitting-room, a dining-room with fireplace and a kitchen. There is direct access to the garden from both the sitting-room and the kitchen. This floor also consists of three twin/double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with shower (one with direct access to the garden) and a small storage room. Two staircases lead to the first floor, one is indoor and one outdoor. On this floor there is a small liveable entrance with a writing table, which is connected to a spacious living/tv-room, three twin/double beddrooms with en suite bathrooms with shower and one twin/double bedroom with sofa bed, and en suite bathroom with bath-tub.

Our Personal Opinion:

This property is a perfect accomodation for large groups. It is also possible to rent 6 other big villas located in the same estate. The location, on the beautiful Val D'Orcia is perfect for visiting the towns of Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino as well as Florence, Siena, Rome, Umrbia.

The property can only be booked from Saturday to Saturday.
