With 4 bedrooms in the main house plus additional sleeping space for two in the guest house there is plenty of room for your group to spread out. With a large sunny deck, lushly landscaped backyard and private hot tub, you may find it hard to pull yourself back inside.

We have stayed in several houses in Saugatuck and they all have had their advantages. Sunnyside has a great location, a nice kitchen, and a nice little detached suite with laundry. The only drawback was that the heat in the detached suite was what we believe to be steam heat and it was loud when it clicked on and off. We also enjoyed the hot tub!

Our stay was wonderful! The home was clean, in a great location, and just as the website made it seem. It was a little tight with 10 adults but we were expecting that. Though we had a few issues (the fuze blew out, the pilot wasn't on for the fireplace) the maintenance man came to fix them very quickly. We were all very happy with our choice!

I come to Saugatuck with a group of friends for my birthday every year since 2003. This property has been our destination the last couple of trips and wow... it is so well appointed and comfortable. All 8 of us were able to stay here and enjoy a great level of relaxation and comfort.

The house was in a great location. Easy access to many fun activities, but also quiet. Sunnyside was very clean and well-stocked. We really enjoyed the spacious deck and semi-private backyard. We also really liked the house fan. It cooled the house wonderfully at night and also provided white noise. People who wanted to sleep in were not disturbed when others got up early. The Lakeshore staff was very helpful and accommodating from booking through stay. We would rent a house through Lakeshore again. We would also stay at Sunnyside again.

Our girls weekend in Saugatuck will be a trip we remember for a longtime. From the moment we arrived everything surpassed our expectations. The Sunnyside home was thoroughly clean, beautiful bedrooms, a kitchen perfect for a large group with all the modern amentities. The biggest surprise of all was the amazing yard. A large deck, lots of room for outdoor dining, hottub, the trees and landscaping and the big firepit in the back. We counldn't have asked for a more perfect house for our girls getaway. Thankyou again Lakeshore Lodging for a memorable experience.

Our first vacation with our 3 adult sons, 2 daughter-in-laws, 3 grandchildren, and 1 girlfriend. My wife and I could not have asked for a more accommodating place. Twice a day we walked just a few short blocks to the downtown shops. Evening walk including ice cream. Nice playground for the little ones along the walk. About a 5 minute drive to get to Oval Beach. Very clean beach.
The house had everything we needed; books and a few toys for the kids; comfortable beds for all; nice deck with patio furniture and a picnic table; back yard had a wood pile and one evening we sat around the fire; the hot tub was awesome to relax in; The extra room apart from house was very nice for 2 people. Also a big plus in todays world was the wifi.
My son arrived first and said check-in was very easy. Super friendly service from the people at Lakeshore Lodging.
Before we left we decided this will be perfect for future vacations and I will be booking next years very soon. No complaints at all. Very highly recommended.Response from Lakeshore Lodging - 03/12/2013

We (family of 4) stayed here for 4 days in July 2011. The house is large, clean and quiet, but walking distance to everything in Saugatuck. Master bedroom on ground floor, kids rooms upstairs, but extra sleep space in converted garage too. Hot tub was new and a great bonus. No complaints whatsoever; this place would hold 6 comfortably.

This was the first of many girl's weekends. We were all highschool classmates and had not stayed together for over 30 years. It was perfect for the 8 of us. The home was in a great location for us - close to shopping. The directions were great, late check in was very convenient for us. The home was very clean, we had plenty of room. I liked the fact that we were all so comfortable that we stayed in Saturday night to watch Dvd's, play games, tell stories, and laugh. The best thing was the kitchen. We all spread out and made snacks for dinner. The only thing that was the tiniest problem was that there was not enough comfortable seating in the living room - some sat on the floor - it certainly would not keep us from staying there again. The Sunnyside/Lakeshore Rentals provided us with a place to start a tradition of getting away and having fun with our group of girls.

Its a yearly outting my friends and I take for my bday weekend out to Saugatuck. This location ended up being all we have asked for. With the separate coach house, the hot tub, the open floor plan etc. It was truly a great getaway and relaxing experience.
