This property is located one kilometer from Sauveterre where you'll find a grocery, bakery, restaurant, and village shop. Beautifully landscaped, Sauveterre is situated in a high position between the Lemance valley to the west and the Theze valley to the east. If you plan on taking lots of day trips, Cahors is one destination you won't want to miss. As the capital of the Lot, Cahors has many things to do and see. The town has a rich history dating back to Celtic times and was even mentioned in Dante's Inferno for it's involvement in the Hundred Years' War and Wars of Religion. Perhaps Cahors is best known today for its production of wine so expect several places to go wine tasting during your visit! You'll also markets (both indoors and out), plenty of restaurants, and unique shops. The main sites include the Cathedrale Saint-Etienne, the Valentre Bridge, and the Arc de Diane.
