Built in 1875 and recently renovated from floor to ceiling, the Sycamore House boasts modern amenities while maintaining Southern Charm. Pine floors, built-in bookcases, double fireplaces, exposed beams, new appliances and televisions and free wireless internet all make this home the perfect getaway.
The Sycamore House sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and a queen sleeper sofa. I could not have been happier with the Sycamore House on Jones Street. Jones Street is beautiful and lined with oak trees. We could walk all over the Historic District and did not even bother to get in our car once we parked. The house was just as described... very clean, historic charm, lots of space and the outdoor spaces were an added bonus. I loved waking up in the morning and having my coffee on the upstairs deck and we would grill out in the courtyard below at night. I would definitely stay in this home again and would recommend it to all of my friends and family. The owner told me that they are renovating the carriage house in the back, so I might add that on the next time I come to Savannah. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Savannah!

Communication with Robyn was easy and efficient. She went out of her way to help get us into a restaurant.
The home was clean with some terrific amenities such as a walk-in shower, a backyard and a deck. The bed and other furniture were attractive and comfortable. The layout is quirky; there are a number of places on both floors where one needs to mind one's step as there are several sets of short stairs. This was not a problem for us but it should be noted. The kitchen cupboards were in poor condition and the hot/cold water were reversed in the kitchen sink.
The neighborhood is lovely. The house is near some of this city's beautiful squares and within walking distance of most of historic and Victorian Savannah. There are some terrific restaurants nearby.
In sum, in spite of the couple of issues with the kitchen, we would happily stay in this lovely, quirky home again. -

The house was really nice with a well equiped kitchen, nice deck and comfortable living areas. The location was great, within walking distance of everything that Savannah has to offer. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a break in Savannah.

We found this home on E jones street to be extremely comfortable and relaxing. We've rented from the owners in the past and always receive the southern hospitality we've come to expect. You won't be disapointed!
