Pictures did not do this home justice! We were all very pleasantly surprised by the quality and style of furnishings, the locale, and not a single thread out of place in the entire home. Large enough for 3 ladies to move around in, yet cozy enough to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Courtyard was absolutely lovely, as were the views from the numerous porches. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to others, and will gladly recommend Savannah Getaways to everyone I know. They arranged all our tours to perfection, and made sure we were comfortable and content.

This is a fantastic residence. It was ideally situated for everything we wanted to do. We walked throught the city parks, enjoyed downtown, the riverfront and the restaurants. Best of all we never moved our car after our arrival. The house is spacious and warm and has character. We loved it so much we bought a house built in 1891 when we returned home.

We absolutely loved this house. It is very convenient to River Street, the Pirate House and many other local haunts. The only thing we would have liked more was if it had been decorated for Christmas, but that was a small sacrafice for such beautiful accomodations. Again, we absolutely loved this place.

We loved the home we stayed in, it was picture perfect and close to everything! I'm not sure we would want to stay anywhere else. We were treated graciously when we asked to extend our stay and accomodated with no problem. This coming year will be our last child's summer at home and he already requested to go back to Savannah. The town is lovely and keeps mom happy during the day while the guys head across the bridge to Hilton Head to play golf. Evening dinners in Savannah can be anything you're in the mood for and the food is a fond memory for us all. Hope to see you soon.

Savannah is one of my very favorite southern cities and when I had to attend a conference there in September, I knew immediately I wanted to stay in the historic area of the city. Having had a trouble free experience renting through Savannah Getaways on a prior visit, I used them again and again I was thrilled with the outcome. This home is gracious, well equipped and steps from the river. Although I could not see the ships, I could hear them. From the courtyard and the off street parking to the oh so comfortable beds, I felt relaxed and immersed in the history of the city.

Staffordshire, EnglandAn elegant, well equipped, conveniently sited home.

Although we were visiting from UK and we booked the accommodation over
the Internet, it was all straightforward the instructions for access and parking
all worked perfectly.
The house was beautifully and fully furnished, and the designated parking
space very helpful.
We enjoyed Savannah and found 16 Price Street conveniently situated, being
able to walk to River Street and the Market area with ease. We loved all the
little parks with their variety, and found the on/off tour bus helpful.
The best perhaps was the feeling of being in a genuine private house filled
with lovely furnishings, and being able to have breakfast and evening drinks on
our own patio; the least, no kettle for our (English) pot of tea!! -

We spent a great week in Savannah. For the vacation longer than 3-4 days we always staying in a vacation rental homes/condo's instead of a hotel and that time it was great. The house was right in the center of the historical district, just a block away from River Rd. with all the attractions.
The very best thing - parking! Right behind the house!(Just need to make it more clear in the instruction, because "Rainbow Row" for new people in town - means nothing) Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased that the description matched the house. It's actually nicer than the pictures!
We'd definitely recommend this house. Distance from everything - just short walk. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen(one small remark - only one cutting board for everything!!!).
It isa perfect house for small family to enjoy Savannah. -

It is like a fantastic bed & breakfast (without the breakfast but a well equipped kitchen) but you are the exclusive guests! Great location to walk to Savannah's landmarks. We loved sitting on the 2nd floor porch and watching horse drawn carriages go by on the street below and ships sail by on the Savannah River. The private, walled courtyard only enhanced our over-all experience.
This was a welcomed change from staying in a hotel. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Savannah. -

Left on 01/03/2009 for a stay in November 2008
For a feeling of gracious Savannah, this property cannot be beat. It is elegantly decorated in a low-key way and has the additional advantage of a wonderful location in the historic district close to the river near shops, restaurants, house museums. We loved coming "home" here at the end of each day of busy touring. More pluses: three porches, a lovely, secluded back courtyard, laundry room, bath and a half, decorative fireplace that actually heats if wanted, separate dining room with large table. We will return - enough said.

We found this property on an internet travel site and couldn't have been more pleased. We are three ladies who came from Texas to Savannah to celebrate our 60th birthdays. The location of the house made it was easy to see the sights of Savannah and the off-street parking was convenient. We enjoyed the comfortable furnishings of this beautiful home.

We rented this wonderful two story, two bedroom home in Savannah that was near perfect in every way. Not only was the property well equipped and spacious but it was in an extremely convenient location.
Staying in a warm and friendly home rather than a cold and sterile hotel room was a true delight.
Four of us spent a week here and it was the perfect way to experience Savannah.
The rental process was easy and there were no surprises...everything that was promised was delivered. -
