      Wonderful!

Left on 12/11/2011 for a stay in November 2011

As soon as we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice! It was perfect for us. There were 2 couples and we had plenty of room. The townhouse was clean, very updated, and had everything we needed. It was within walking distance to everything. We really liked the beer parlor that was so close. The charming courtyard was perfect for enjoying some wine on a nice cool afternoon. We didn't cook anything in the kitchen, but it had everything you would need to make a wonderful meal.
We fell in love with Savannah and will absolutely be back. We will also rent this townhouse again! Thanks to aubrey for booking us, and to Pat for providing such a lovely home.

      Short but sweet

Left on 11/15/2011 for a stay in April 2011

We were in town for only 3 full days, but was filled with plenty to do. The house was great. It was the perfect location. We went for junior weekend to Scad. We were able to walk to the park where the events for the weekend started. There were a lot of great place to visit in walking distance. As a lifelong Girl Scout, I was thrilled to visit the Juliette Gordon Low home. We ate at 2 great restaurants (sorry the names escape me). It was surprising how close and easy to get to that the airport was, which is great because the young lady has chosen to go to Scad this fall!

      Nice and Cozy Home

Left on 10/27/2011 for a stay in August 2011

My family was in town for a wedding and we loved the accommodations at the Tattnall St. Townhouse. I have two little children and we loved the fact that a public playground was located down the street. The Master Bedroom was very comfortable and downstairs was very cozy. My only complaint would be the water. With having two little ones the water temperature was set too high for them. I had to be careful when giving them a bath. However it was a great location, nicely decorated, and very cozy for my family. My oldest daughter cannot wait for us to visit Savannah again and stay in the same house! She can't stop talking about it.

      savannah is always savannah

Left on 10/21/2011 for a stay in June 2011

This year I found Savannah. This stay was my third time there. I was not particularly impressed with the apartment. It had everything you needed however, the first thing you see when you enter the property from the back is the courtyard and it was dirty, messy, broken windows, etc. You walk in and everything you would need is there however the walls definitely need repainted or at least touched up. Very dirty looking walls. For me and my family we are in love with Savannah and just need a comfortable, affordable place to stay that is centrally located. We can easily over look the "stuff", just not sure how other first timers would feel.

While our Tattnall Street townhouse carries an overall near 5 star review rating of 4.75 on Flip Key/Trip Advisor, these highly trafficked historic district vacation rental homes have to be taken offline from time to time to be spruced up as a direct result of their usage.

Thank you for the constructive comments Nicole, the property owners see it the same way and are on top of it just in time for the next check in during the weekend of the Savannah Rock and Roll Marathon.

This popular Savannah Getaways townhouse is undergoing a deep, deep cleaning that includes among other things, painting throughout to bring it back up to the pristine condition that has led to the high ratings garnered at this excellent valued rowhouse with off street parking and a courtyard just off of Crawford Square.

      Felt right at home

Left on 09/26/2011 for a stay in June 2011

We have traveled to Savannah several times the past 2 years while our daughter was at scad. We have used Savannah Getaways each time and have had a great experience each time. The townhouse on Tattnall St was in a great location - close to all of Scad's graduation ceremonies. The place was one of the best that we have stayed in. We felt right at home the minute we walked into the townhouse.

      Anniversary Trip

Left on 09/03/2010 for a stay in July 2010

My husband and I and family (two kids and in-laws) traveled to Savannah for our anniversary. We were not impressed with the house that we stayed in. The outside was not really well kept up, and the inside was not really clean. We did like the big beds and comfortable furniture in the house.

Owner has been made aware of temporary condition of a rowhouse condominium in historic Savannah that has consistently been rated five stars by previous travelers year after year.

This particular year has been a banner year for travelers coming to Savannah in all the seasons, high, low, and shoulder with very little time between check in and check out to provide for deep cleaning as is normally scheduled during the low and shoulder seasons.

      Great Surprise

Left on 06/21/2010 for a stay in May 2010

When my friend and his wife decided to escape the chaos of South Louisiana and come visit my girlfriend and me in Southeast Georgia, I decided to look for a rental in Savannah so we could all vacation in the historic city. This location was perfect for our budget, provided a spacious place for two couples, and it couldn't have been any easier to book and check-in. The kitchen is a small galley style kitchen, but if you spend your time in the kitchen while in Savannah you are missing out! We were still able to pair up and cook dinner/breakfast a couple of days with no problem!

It's in great walking distance to most everything if you are up for a little stroll. The walks were our favorite as we went a different way each time and got to see the nice residential areas. There is also a great restaurant just a two blocks out the back door. It was too warm in the evening to enjoy the back fenced-in patio for dinner, but it was a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning.

There are two living areas (only one pictured in photos) and each bedroom (upstairs) had it's own full size bath. Parking is included behind the place, which can save you a few dollars and hassel while visiting. I wouldn't say the place is very high-end (granite counters, tile/hardwood floors, etc) but it's clean, well-maintained, in a great location, and isn't low-end either.

As a side note, if you are interested in learning about some great local places, consider the FoodyTour (not associated with rentals). We did this the first day and visited alot of places we had to go back to!

      Perfect!

Left on 05/16/2010 for a stay in April 2010

I stumbled across Savannah Getaways and now will probably never stay in a Savannah hotel again.

The property was clean, convenient, safe, and spacious. The service - from my original inquiry and gaining access to the property, to figuring out the WiFi and receiving my deposit back - was the best. Hands down. Our family went to Savannah for spring break and everyone enjoyed themselves (not easy when the kids are 9, 14, and 17). The close proximity to Forsyth Park as well as the river front placed us within walking distance to everything the historic district has to offer.

Left on 10/15/2009 for a stay in July 2009

My husband, toddler son, mother-in-law and I stayed at this rental property and really enjoyed it. With multiple adults, it was very convenient to have two master suites. The beds were very comfortable and all of the amenities were very nice. The kitchen was fully stocked! You could easily stay there for months at a time! When returning to Savannah we will stay at this property again.

      Perfect and Charming

Left on 07/13/2009 for a stay in June 2009

The two bedroom townhouse was the perfect place for
our family and friends to stay. It is just two
blocks away from the famous Forsyth Park and located
next to some of the most charming houses in Savannah.
The decorating is tasteful and the amenities leave
you with no worries during your trip. It was nice to
be able to do laundry and have high speed internet.
      It felt like home.

      Fantastic location

The accomodations were spacious with comfortable and attractive furnishings. We were able to park and walk to most places we wanted to see or experience in Savannah. Enjoyed Chrystal's Beer Parlor, the local restaurant up the street that was child friendly in spite of the name. Also easy walking distance to Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House, a place for a delightful and memorable lunch. Books and movies for the one rainy day we had. Have already recommended to several folks that have Savannah in their thoughts for vacation.

The house was great. Would definitly rent again. Beds comfy....all the comforts of home. The only thing I would suggest is a really good spring cleaning. The window ledges, blinds and baseboards could use a good dusting. Other than that it was most enjoyable. Thanks

The townhouse on Tattenall was just perfect! We stayed during my
son's graduation from SCAD and it gave us the perfect place for
entertaining roommate's families. It was walking distance to
everything in the historic district and provided a quiet retreat from
the hectic graduation activities. I would definately stay again!

Convenient location for seeing historic Savannah

Left on 05/29/2008 for a stay in May 2008

We spent three days at the Tatnall townhouse and found it to be everyting we needed to make our stay efficient and pleasant. Location is great. We walked the whole city...several times. Off-street parking is convenient. And accomodations were very nice. Townhouse has lots of little touches that are not found elsewhere: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, etc. There were even copies of the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. We loved your beautiful city and we enjoyed staying at the townhouse.
