Description from the manager
#1033 Another one of Savannah's nice little surprises, this 1875 vintage townhome has a plain face to the street, but she is cozy, fresh, and modern inside --- with a stunning and surprising deck area out behind. It has the feel, accommodations and furnishings of a place you can call home no matter how long or short your stay. First floor: living room, half bath, and large eat-in kitchen. Second floor: Two larger bedrooms (queen beds) and full bath. A comfortable fold-out twin bed is hidden in the large leather ottoman in the living area. Oriental carpets on original wood floors in the living room, bedrooms, and halls. This block of Taylo...Read more

Booking the rental was easy and flawless. The home is cozy with all the comforts of home away from home. We enjoyed the full eat in kitchen ..it was our gathering spot to discuss the days adventures. The location is perfect to be able to walk to destinations and also easy access to the major roads. We liked the feeling of being a part of that community. Watching the "locals" walking to work or walking their dogs.
Liked having the ottoman in the living room as a bed. Only down side is we were there in the heat wave...over 100 degrees!...the air conditioning has the controls upstairs only...it was too cold downstairs and too warm upstairs. I do understand it was blazing hot outside and was probably taxing to the system.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and look forward to a return stay in cooler temperature. -

This house as an excellent location, it is very comfortable except for the kitchen that feels kind of small even though we were only three in the house and there is no blender!

Auburn Ga,The Best Place to Stay!
Left on 07/18/2011 for a stay in June 2011
This was the best place to stay! Very clean and very nice. It was also a great location to everything. Easy to find and was quiet. You could actually walk to alot of places. The owners are wonderful. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about the whole experience. My daughter found this place after searching for a couple of weeks.I hope that we will be going back soon and this is the place I want to stay again. We took my 82 year old Mother so we drove alot. She felt safe staying there. I liked the idea that the car was at the door so she didn't have very far to walk. We walked about 3 blocks the last night we stayed to a market and wasn't concerned about safety at all.

Atlanta, GACozy stay
Left on 10/15/2009 for a stay in August 2009
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The house is a good walking distance to almost everything in Savannah, with a quiet neighborhood as well. Everything was very clean upon arrival, and the directions were excellent. I really enjoyed my time here. Parking was plentiful and easily accesible, although once we arrived, we hardly used the car because everything was so close.

Ft. Wayne, INCozy comfort in Savannah!
Left on 06/30/2009 for a stay in May 2009
We really enjoyed our stay in the comfort of this beautiful historic setting! We came to SAvannah to attend a wedding and loved being so close and convenient to so many of the historical sights. We loved the yard and spent lots of time visiting out there with our son and daughter-in-law from Phoenix. It was very clean and neat and we really enjoyed having extra space to visit, versus a hotel room. We would gladly stay again and loved the setting. WE had so much fun walking to the different squares and shops. Thanks again .

Left on 01/20/2009 for a stay in December 2008
This home was in the Savannah historic district, walking distance to the river, various historic sites, dining and a grocery store. We had a lovely relaxing time, we parked the car and walked everywhere. We brought the dog and also enjoyed many lovely dog walks. The home was just as advertised including a pleasant courtyard good for dogs and kids. The keyless entry was a good feature, didn't have to keep track of a key. We would stay there again.

Raleigh, North CarolinaSavannah Review
Left on 11/03/2008 for a stay in October 2008
The home is in a very nice part of Savannah, not far from Forsyth Park. It is about a 15 minute walk to River St but you can always ride the Trolley.
The inside of the house as a nice feel to it: older home with old hardwood floors that are in great shape as well as modern furniture.
A couple of issues I had with the house include: dishwasher was broken, sheets on my bed were not clean (had grit on them), dishwasher and sink still had dishes from previous visitor. That was about it. I would recommend this house but a couple small things should be addressed first. Thank you.
