We enjoyed staying at this house over Easter with relatives. The first evening that we arrived, we took a nice long and gorgeous walk around the neighborhood. We walked to a good Italian restaurant another night. We found the location most enjoyable, and we felt like we had stepped back in time.
The only thing that we noticed is that the floors are sloped and there are a few areas in the house and on the deck where flooring is at different levels, and this was hard to see for our older in-laws.
Very nice experience, and our children loved the upstairs, a real get-away!

We decided to rent a home for us and another family while we were in Savannah. What a great decision!! The home and deck allowed us to spread out. The house was centrally located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The ability to have the homeowners phone number was extremely comforting and Tom gave us good information on where to eat in the area. We would definitely stay again!!!
Unfortunately when we arrived the a/C in the upstairs wasn't working. The owner was more than accommodating and offered us his other available units. He also refunded part of our money due to the inconvenience. The back patio was very nice and the properties were well stocked and comfortable. We would return and stay here again. It would be a nice spot for families traveling together or a girls' getaway.
Savannah Getaways was very easy and pleasant to work with as we made our
reservations. I had some questions about the property and they were easily
answered via a personal phone call.
The townhouse was exactly as it appeared on-line and was the perfect fit for
our family. We have two young children and the fenced in backyard/deck was
ideal. We would certainly rent this place again, in a heartbeat.
Although we were visiting family in town, we did walk to some of the
downtown sites and the location of the townhouse was ideal. The street was
quiet, we never had parking problems, and there was even a little park for the
kids within walking distance.
Highly recommended--not one negative thing to say!

We had a great time in Savannah and the town home we stayed in was amazing! Much, Much better than any hotel. I'd recommend using Savannah Getaways for anyone looking to stay more than a night in Savannah. Very comfortable, quiet, easy, etc.
Only complaint was the mosquitoes in the backyard, but nothing citronella's and bug spray couldn't take care of!

This was a wonderful old house with a very nice ownder who met us upon arrival in Savannah. We enjoyed our stay because of staying there. We were close to everything in Savannah and renting the house made the inconvenience of having seperate hotel rooms (and even seperate hotels) a thing of the past. We're looking forward to renting again!

The house was great and spacious with all of the amenities I have at home. Parking was not an issue and the patio was huge which was a definate plus for my smoker friends. The house is close to downtown which allowed us to walk and have breakfast at Clary's which I recommend. The sheer beauty of all of the homes in the Historic District is breathe taking. I also enjoyed brisk walks to Krogers which was fairly close also. This is my second time visiting your beautiful city and I appreciate the fact the I feel safe walking around in the Historic District.

We had a perfect time at #1034 in Savannah. We were traveling with 4 adults and 3 children and had more than plenty of room. The house and property were well maintained and very clean. We were further than we liked to be from the heart of Savannah, but for the price you could not beat it!
