Saginaw, MIWe absolutely loved it and hated to leave!
Left on 12/18/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We love historical places. This home was beautiful and we could walk everywhere in the historic district. The only thing I would add is a small table for dining. We ate a number of meals, including Thanksgiving, there. It was too hot on the porch, even in November.

Pittsburgh, PALovely Rental!
Left on 11/30/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We initially chose this unit due to the parking space and location (and the fact it was great price helped also). We used to live in Savannah and knew this was a great location where you could walk to everything. When we entered, I must say we were shocked...it was much larger and nicer than we thought it would be from the pictures online. The 2 working fireplaces were a great bonus as well. We try to get to Savannah annually, and we have found our new favorite place to stay. As long as this unit is available when we come down, we will be staying there!

The condo was very warm and inviting. It was nicely decorated and very clean. The scent of the jasmine growing out back was really nice. We would stay here again. Simply wonderful.

Left on 06/07/2010 for a stay in May 2010
We love staying in the W. Liberty propery and since our regular unit was booked, we opted for this condo. All I can say is that we have a new favorite! We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived--The photos do not do the space justice. Beautifully decorated, spacious, lovely. We heard neighbors moving in and moving out through our vacation, but as the building is old, it is to be expected and we didn't mind. We will definitely return to this unit for future stays!

Central FloridaBeautiful Apartment in Savannah
Left on 04/23/2010 for a stay in March 2010
The apartment was in a great location with ample and secure parking. We could walk to everything in town which was great.
The apartment was spacious enough, but you will find the dining area to be very small, as it is just a tiny table and two chairs in a corner of the living room. As long as you aren't serving big meals though, it is not a problem. Kitchen furnished with everything you will need.
This is a great place for TWO people. However, if someone intends tp sleep on the sofa bed, I warn you that it is very uncomfortable. The mattress on it needs to be replaced. (I know sofa beds are not the most comfortable thing to sleep on but this was the worse, with a stained mattress that sagged in the middle...
Still, I would stay here again as everything else in the place was wonderful.Response from Savannah Getaways - 04/25/2010

Most of the one bedroom apartments are more geared for a party of two for the most part but some owners will provide sleeping arrangements for additional guests as an accommodation to the needs of a party of three to four in as cost effective a manner as possible. Sleeper sofas are never going to sleep as well as a stand alone bed as you pointed out and Savannah Getaways agrees with that.
Thank you for providing this up to the minute information so that we can rectify this condition. The owner's have been made aware that they may want to replace the sleeper sofa with a new one OR consider doing away with it all together rather than risk a poor night's sleep for other guests in traveling parties of three or more. -

DC areaApartment not built for the weather we had!
Left on 03/22/2010 for a stay in January 2010
Granted it was an unusually cold week but the apartment was drafty to an extreme! The wind was blowing down the fireplace so strongly in the bedroom that when we tried to cover it with plastic and duct tape (yes, duct tape!) it blew it right off. We couldn't use that fireplace because it blew the gas fumes back into the room. Luckily the fireplace in the sitting room worked -- we really depended on it for heat. The bed was not very comfortable and the linens in the apartment need to be replaced and upgraded. The fixtures in the bathtub need to be replaced -- it dripped badly. The location is terrific, and the apartment is quaint. The kitchen is attractive and updated. Loved Savannah! What a great place.

Left on 08/06/2009 for a stay in June 2009
The owner had changed the passcode on the lockbox
outside and we were not informed and we had to call
Aubrey to get the new passcode. Not alot of water
pressure for flushing the toliet and the bed needed
new sheets the ones on the bed have pills on them making them uncomfortable. A little traffic noise.
But other than that a good stay.Response from Savannah Getaways - 11/22/2009

Savannah Getaways has set up checks and balances to offset remote lock mechanisms denying access to our historic district homes. In this instance the property owner dropped the ball by not informing our reservation desk about these changes that they undertook on their own. We were able to gain access to the townhouse for the guest in a fairly quick manner once we sorted through the confusion of the change of security codes.

Hobart, Tasmania, AustraliaA cool oasis in Steamy Savannah
Left on 07/14/2009 for a stay in June 2009
Our 11pm arrival at Property #1068 started with a bit of a panic, as we had been given an incorrect combination for the key safe. Luckily, this was soon resolved and we were able to enjoy a nicely furnished, reasonably comfortable apartment well located in the historic district of Savannah. The property provides a great base from which to explore the area. The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen which includes a microwave oven but, curiously, no microwave cookware. The kitchen also includes a washing machine and dryer. The bathroom is OK except for the toilet which is located in a very narrow recess adjacent to the roomy shower. Anyone with a larger than average backside might find themselves permanently wedged! The conveniently located plunger seemed an odd inclusion in a nicely decorated room until the toilet overflowed and it was put to immediate use on more than one occasion! The cistern also had problems - sometimes failing to fill after a flush (constantly running). The toilet problem had been noted in the visitors' book by other tenants but it appears that no action has been taken. The main bed was rather hard and the fold-out bed needed to be propped with cushions as there was some kind of mechanical problem with it. Despite all of this, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the A/C during the 95 degree weather.
Savannah Getaways were very helpful with our bookings including a extra night's accommodation required because of a stuff-up by Amtrack. -

Gracious southern home!
Left on 06/02/2008 for a stay in May 2008
Good location for sightseeing, shopping and eating. Good amenities. For the traveller who wants to prepare meals in house it is a little lacking in fridge space, freezer space and a comfortable place to dine. The TV did not work well...very snowy and although TV isn't extremely important while on vacation it is nice to have that option for the morning news and on rainy days. Love the service that Savannah Getaways provides. Have stayed with them now 3 times and already looking at properties for next year.
