This condo is in an excellent location! My husband loves Roly Poly so we were pleasantly surprised to have that right next door! Easy walk to so many prime spots in Savannah. Very clean and larger than expected!

This centrally located loft apartment was as comfortable as it was the 1st time we stayed there.Great for families or couples vacationing together.The minor annoyance of the unstable closet door we found the 1st time we stayed here was fixed as requested.
We will definitely book this place again. -

We took the kids for a long weekend in Savannah as a last chance summer break. The Telfair Loft was absolutely amazing. The entire family enjoyed it. The loft allows everyone to have plenty of space to enjoy their stay. Will definitely visit again!!!

This was a delightful and delightfully located apartment in the heart of the historic district. Easy walking to restaurants, shops, and Bay Street. The apartment itself was perfect for two couples - comfortable common area and two private bedroom/bath combinations. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We visited Savannah for a long weekend and had a great time. The rental was easy to find and located near everything we wanted to do. The kitchen was ready to go with anything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable.The 2 full bathrooms were just what 4 adults needed! We had a question about the TV and someone helped us right away get it working (our problem not theirs :) You just stepped outside and were near shops and restaurants. It was just a short walk to River Street. The only draw back was it was on a busy street and on weekend nights the party crowd can get a little noisy walking down the street but I would stay again even with that noise.

What a hassle free vacation! The apartment was very comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect. It is so nice to be able to visit in the den rather than have others come to a hotel room to sit on the bed or stand around. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is the second year that we have stayed in this loft and it was like coming home. Last year I stated in my review that I had to get used to the city noise because we live in the suburbs, so we were pleasantly surprised to find that an white noise machine had been placed in the bedroom. The loft is centrally located and is an easy walk to restaurants and River Street.

Even with a virtual tour of the property, one doesn't know what to expect. We were very pleased with all aspects of our "getaway" location and amenities. Tops for us was the location, which allowed us to walk to most of the destinations we wanted to visit. We were surprised at the amount of street traffic both foot and auto at 2 a.m. That gave us a certain sense of security.
Our questions to the "getaway" office were answered politely and adequately. The only issue was the fact the owner changed the locks just prior to our arrival. It was fortunate we called with a question and learned of the change in codes. Our deposit was returned promptly, which ensures we will use this company again. We have recommended it to friends.
We were concerned about parking, but we were able to resolve things with no problems. We do have a handicapped car tag and that helped a lot.
This city has become my grandson's favorite city and much of that is due to our accommodations..
Thank you. We plan to come again.

We stayed at the Telfair Loft when we were in Savannah to attend a wedding.The location was perfect; easy access and within walking distance of many fun spots to visit. The loft was attractive and comfortable and equipped with everything that we needed. The loft was not really equipped for formal dining; but we prepared light meals and snacks and ate out the rest of the time so it worked for us. We would definitely consider staying at this loft in the future.

We have used homeaway in the past for our stay in Myrtle Beach, SC so when we found this property for our stay in Savannah, we were happy to see all the nice and encouraging reviews. The property appears to be in very good condition from the photos on the website, and this is a very nice location, convenient to everything. But the property has been very poorly maintained by the cleaning service. Ie-my 4 year old son traveled with us and the hardwood floors are in such bad shape, we had to force him to wear his water shoes so that he would not get any more splinters in his feet. The sheets had to be washed before we went to bed because there were brown stains on them. The furnishings in the living room has so much dust under them that we had to vacuum under them ourselves. The bathtubs had so much so soap scum that we went to Kroger and bought bathroom cleaner ourselves. On the third night of our stay, the satellite went, we called the number on the email and never received a call back. I'm sorry if my honesty offends anyone, but I think it's important to be honest. Hopefully future visitors will find the property in better repair than we did.

We’re very sorry to hear that this property did not meet your expectations. We take all feedback to heart and use it to try to improve what we do as we are very proud of our reputation. As you pointed out, previous guests have left great reviews for the property so they obviously did not encounter the same issues you did. We did a walk through on the property a few weeks ago and it looked great at that time so this really comes out of the blue for us.
We’ve never had any cleaning complaints regarding this housekeeping staff, so we’re very surprised to hear about the issues with cleanliness. That being said, the owner is looking into having a deep cleaning scheduled in response to this review.
Unlike Myrtle Beach, most homes in Savannah are hundreds of years old with original flooring, crown molding, etc. Still, in response to this review, the owner is going to see about resealing the floors at this property.
Regarding the satellite, we understand that this happened at midnight and the signal had returned by morning. We are a self-catered alternative to hotels, etc. and do our best to handle all phone calls in a timely manner. While we are very sorry this call wasn’t returned right away, it sounds like it was a problem with the satellite company and there was not much we could have done to get it restored any faster than it was.

The rental home was perfect in every way. I'm an artist and was participating in the Telfair art Fair, I couldn't have asked for a better location. My husband and I were traveling with our 3 boys (9, 11, &14) and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. While I worked, the guys were able to walk everywhere. It was very nicely decorated and had many thoughtful additions (soap- which we forgot, games, maps, brochures etc) were provided. We left atlanta later than expected and arrived at 3am, but it was not an issue because we had already been given the apartment access information. The staff was very helpful throughout the process and during our stay. Even the neighbors were friendly. The only downside to the location was that we live in the suburbs so we had to get used to the city noises at night. I will definitely book with Savannah Getaways again and have already recommended them to several friends.

We stayed here for a week in September. The location is great and right in the heart of the historic district. The place was very clean and everything we could possible need was provided in the condo. The master bedroom overlooks Broughton Street and can be noisy at night. That was our only complaint. The couple in the other bedroom did not have any complaints of street noise though.
We traveled to Hilton Head twice during our stay and it was only a 45 minute drive which was nice. -

We enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room (5 adults) we walked to the riverwalk. Would definetly stay here again. It was a little warm in the condo, could have used a fan. (we stayed in July)

We decided to stay in a condo for our girls weekend because we all wanted to be in the same place with a lot of space to cook, lounge, and spend time together. The location was great for sight-seeing and hitting the town. The rate and the ease of renting through Savannah Getaways will make all of us repeat customers! (By the way, staying in a hotel would have been further from River St,.and still more $ per person!)

Our rental was like walking into something on HGTV. Everything was fabulous, from the security entrance to the outstanding furnishings. There was no hassle since we just parked, opened a lock box and took the elevator to the room. Our favorite part of the place was the full wall windows overlooking Broughton Street. However, this did prove to be a nuisance since we were there during St. Patrick's Day festivities. The windows did let a lot of party noise in from the street. We didn't need our car while there since everything is within walking distance. We will definitely return.

It a sentence, strategically placed, very chic, outstanding last minute rate from Aubrey of Savannah Getaways which by the way made our spur of the moment run to the coast very easy. What a top notch operation in an outstanding loft - okay so sue me, two sentences.

We stayed here with another couple for 3 nights. It was a convenient location, and with a parking spot right outside the front door, there was no need to move the car during our stay. There was a coffee shop about 1/2 block away which was nice in the morning.
The unit itself was comfortable. We didn't hear any other people in the building during our stay. We didn't do any cooking, so the lack of a dining table did not bother us.
The biggest negative was that the lock on the lobby door was broken, which would allow anybody to wander in, enter the elevator or stairwell, etc. Since there didn't appear to be many 'characters' in this area, it didn't present a real problem. A smaller problem was the lack if instructions for the tv & satellite dish. Since we only turned it on the last morning to get the travel weather, this was not a big problem. I would have been nice to have directions and a list of channels.
Overall, an enjoyable stay. -

We were lucky to find this apartment managed by Savannah Getaways. It was clean, well maintained and was in a perfect location. An easy walk to everything we wanted to see and do. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. It was so much better than staying in a hotel. Easy check-in and easy check-out. The parking wasn't the best but not a problem. I would definitely rent this vacation home again.

This loft is perfectly located for a visit to Savannah. After parking our car, we did not need it for 2 days as we toured the entire city.
The loft itself was very clean and exactly as advertised. My wife and 3 teenage daughters loved it! -

This was a great location and a great loft....but needed a really good cleaning.
The place was very dusty and the fridge was very dirty. I bought cleaner and cleaned the bathrooms, kitchen, etc before we got settled in.
Other than that, the location was great and the rental company was very nice and did a great job.
I'd stay here again....as long as I know it got a good cleaning first. -

The apartment was super convenient to everything in the city. It was tastefully appointed, roomy and very clean. The entrance and the elevator are nowhere near as nice as the apartment itself. A few negatives: 1. There is noise late at night coming from the street below from the late night partiers. 2. It is also difficult at times to find parking. I would still stay there again.

The condo itself is beautifully decorated and in a great location. However.....it is on the third floor with a broken/out of use elevator. Would have been nice to have known this ahead of time, as one of the gals in our group has medical issues. Also, being right on the main street and close walking to everything, the main street is very noisy at night...with drag racing going on both nights and a very loud party at the condo next to this one the second night.
When I go back to Savannah, I probably would not rent this condo again and would look for something off the beaten path with more privacy and solitude. -

This is a great condo for exploring Savannah. It's close to shopping, eating, River Street and a parking garage. You can walk anywhere in the historic district from here. Tybee Island beaches are a 20 minute drive.
The condo is well appointed. There are even a few board games. The furnishings are nice and it's very clean. The towels provided are big and soft.
The street noise when the bars get out is a little loud, but any kind of white noise maker would cover it. -

Although we typically have stayed at Bed & Breakfasts in Savannah, we decided to rent this loft since we were traveling with friends this time. We were there for 4 days...and didn't want to leave. The loft space was just perfect...very convenient and the furnishings were just as pictured on the site.
The rooms were bright and the beds and pillows were very comfortable, which is aways a concern when you travel. The kitchen had everything we needed for the few breakfasts we cooked in. We only had one problem and that was with a closet door that kept coming off the track, but we let the rental agency know about it and they were going to address it. I have no doubt they will take care of it because this place is very well maintained.
The men were happy w/ the flat screen TV to watch golf when we had some downtime or NCAA basketball (we'll we all watched that).
We would definitely return to this space.
