Casa Jacqui is exactly as pictured and great value for money!

Left on 01/25/2013 for a stay in December 2012

Great location...just a short walk into town. Jackie provided all the helpful info we needed in advance of our stay. Sayulita is a place I had wanted to visit ever since I read "Gringos in Paradise" a few years ago and it was exactly as I thought it would be from the book. Great food...from "The Real" Fish Taco stand near the beach to upscale restaurants and very friendly Mexican people. If you go, talk to Miguel and Nina at Real Fish Taco and go see the iguanas that live in a tree nearby.

      Had an awesome time here.

Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in December 2012

Our family had a great time in Sayulita and the base for that great time was our housing. The rooms were very clean and well kept. It was perfect for us because we had twenty people stay in one building. The neighbors were also very nice.

      Home away from home

Left on 01/10/2012 for a stay in December 2011

Casa Jaqui was an absolutely wonderful place to stay and a great value in Sayulita. The unit was new, clean, nicely laid-out with all the amenities for a comfortable and safe home base for our 10-night stay. A quick 5-min walk to the town center where we could shop for fresh seafood for dinner and 5 min to the main beach. The property manager was helpful and friendly, the owner sent great instructions about everything. Only word of warning for light sleepers - the neighbourhood can be a bit noisy at night with roosters and dogs - didn't bother us much but light sleepers might want ear plugs. A minor issue considering this property is half the price of ones in the north end of town. Highly recommended.

This place has it all for a great price

Left on 12/05/2011 for a stay in October 2011

I have now stayed here twice. Once on my own travels and again on my honeymoon. Our friends that were paying more and getting less were envious. The owner is friendly and nice and easy to deal with. The units are clean and modern and very comfortable. Huge bathrooms, King beds with comfortable linens, nice cabinets in the kitchen with everything you need to stay a long or short time. Clean bottled water, wi-fi, air conditioning in both living room and bedroom, daily housekeeping, huge balcony with access from the bedroom or main room, complete with table, loveseat, etc. Downstairs is a good size pool, impeccably maintained with poolside BBQ and table. It's a very short walk to town, private and secure. Really great place! bonus: no insects both times I stayed!

Absolutely gorgeous; brilliant value for money

Left on 08/22/2011 for a stay in August 2011

Casa Jaqui is just divine. Huge beds with expensive mattresses, huge bathrooms with beautiful tiled showers, good pillows, well-equipped kitchens, terraces, aircon, a lovely pool, daily maid service, fluffy towels... we couldn't believe what we were getting for our money.

Jackie was helpful and got back to us quickly every time we contacted her. Everything was as described and we had a truly lovely time there. We wanted to stay longer and even though we couldn't we'll almost certainly return.

Personally I don't think it takes ten minutes to walk to the plaza from there though - I'd say a lot quicker!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough - it's just lovely.

Perfect place for a relaxing vacation

Left on 06/29/2011 for a stay in June 2011

I spent 5 days in June 2011 at Casa Jaqui in Sayulita. The design of Casa Jaqui is beautiful. I most enjoyed the private patio, the air conditioning at night, and the nice breeze that would move through the condo during the day. The place looks exactly like the photos that the owner has posted on tripadvisor. It is a 10 minute easy walk to the central area of town and the beach. There are many restaurants to try. There is not a lot to do in Sayulita but it is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation.

A great place to stay, play, relax and enjoy Sayulita!

Left on 04/18/2011 for a stay in April 2011

I just got back (April, 2011) from a week at Casa Jacqui in Sayulita...what a great place to stay!. Clean, quite, comfortable, privacy with your own pool in a gated, walled/protected area.

I stayed in Unit #3, a one-bedroom apartment (on the middle of three living levels) in great condition with its own kitchen, dining area, living room, walk-in shower. Both bedroom and kitchen/living area open to your own private deck overlooking the pool/garden area. Sun bathe on your own deck or poolside. Screened doors and overhead fans keep you cool during the days/nights.

Fully furnished, you can eat-in, fixing your own meals (all utensils/pans/stove/microwave/range you may need is avaialbe in the kitchen), or certainly enjoy local dining and attractions and beaches with a short 5-minute gentle walk into Sayulita.

Daily maid service (except Sunday) comes with your stay. Also a private lock box gives you security for your valuables while you're out enjoying the sites, hiking nearby or relaxing at the beach.

I highly recommend Casa Jacqui...great value and comfortable private accomodations!

      Chillin' at Casa Jaqui

Left on 02/02/2011 for a stay in January 2011

Casa Jaqui is well situated, less than a 5-minute walk from the Plaza, up on a hillside road near its sister Casas all beautifully designed, apparently by the same builder in the last few years. Except for the minor annoyances of roosters, dogs & kids, it's a quiet spot away from most commercial and tourist noise. Our apartment had a warm, open, contemporary Mexican feel, with a large deck. There's also a great poolside deck below. Regular maid service was appreciated. We would have liked a TV for Dvd's, however. We ate most breakfasts & lunches in and went out for dinner, although with the full kitchen, BBQ by the pool and plenty of markets in town, you could easily cook all your own meals. We were given a good deal for our two-week stay. We'd say pretty hard to beat for value, location and comfort in Sayulita!

Total comfort in a village you want to live in!

Left on 12/11/2010 for a stay in December 2010

Casa Jaqui is a wonderful family retreat in beautiful Sayulita. Our stay was amplified by 9 beautiful days of nothing but sun. The Casa itself is very comfortable, with all of the amenities of our home. We needed nothing extra. Maria kept our Casa clean and the beds are wonderful. Didn't need the aC at all as the breezes and ceiling fans kept us comfortably cool at night. The pool is refreshing and well taken care of. Steve and Jackie are gracious hosts who happened to be there when we were there. I strongly recommend the 2 bedroom if travelling with teens. Lots of space ;) A little bit of a hike up a gentle hill from the plaza (less than 10 minutes) but well worth it on your arrival. A little dog ready to greet you on your arrival home... named Jesta. Sayulita itself is oozing charm. The locals are so friendly. Many thanks to Patricia and her staff (Wilbur and Julio) who made our afternoon happy hours on the beach sooo enjoyable. (Captain Pablos) It's Mexico Mama! They kept the Sol flowing and the qesadilla is to die for. Playa Los Muertos is a great beach with soft sand and fun surf. A little off the beat and track but so worth the visit. You need to visit Sayulita.
